This is truly an excellent restaurant. If I would have any criticism, it would be service was too fast, I might have liked a more leisurely paced dinner. All items were very good, they even have a nice selection of vegan items. Dragon tofu, which is not on the menu, but can have on request, was a big hit with... More

Knowing how popular Buddakan is, we made early (5:45) Friday night reservations and were warmly welcomed. .Our server was excellent; very available, professional and helpful in describing dishes. The edamame dim sum was such a tasty surprise. Order the sampler and you'll get the best dim sum ever. We both had fish dishes (Cod & Flounder) which were generous in... More

For better or worse, my practice has been to submit TA reviews for places we discover while on vacation. I’ve never submitted a review of a restaurant close to home even though there are places we love and go to all the time. However, we received what I thought was exceptional service at Buddakan on Saturday and I wanted to... More

I took a group of 5 people to this restaurant during a convention and it was the best meal of the week. Do yourself a favor and book a reservation early as it fills up quickly, especially on Friday and Saturday nights. Try as many appetizers and entrees as you can, we ordered and shared family style. The Cod was... More

Lovely evening with good service. Food was lovely and presented beautifully- particularly like the black cod entree and the edamame dim sum (sound dull but they are surprisingly good).

This place is pricey, the portions are small, but I loved service, décor & the food! Met a few friends there during the week for drinks at the bar, then dinner...we got seated near the Big Buddha, that was pretty cool. I would highly recommend & return...would make a great date night dinner also.

This restaurant blew our minds. We were both extremely impressed and talked about it the rest of the weekend. Friends recommended it, were jealous we went, and we were kind enough to bring back some Dim Sum Doughnuts to share! Highly recommend for anyone interested in Asian fusion cuisine. You have to try the Crispy Calamari Salad.

The drink menu was fantastic! The meal was average and when you factor in the price of the meal, I was a little disappointed. Don't get me wrong the meal was good just was expecting more from Buddakan. Not a bad place to eat but Philly has so many other options.

I like this place. I haven't been in a few years but I love their lobster fried rice! I have yet to visit the locations in Atlantic City NJ & New York but I want to.
