Cool place - I'd take my wife here because of the atmosphere and food presentation, but as for the food itself, pretty average. Adequate service.

Family celebration was made extra special by a great restaurant. The decor is great with a large scale feel that reminds you of a NY or Las Vegas restaurant. Our waiter was knowledgeable and guided us through great duck, chicken and beef dishes and topped it off with great dessert recommendations. A real treat!

Does Buddakan need another review? No, but does it deserve one? ABSOLUTELY! Hadn't been here in several years and wanted to come with a few friends/colleagues while in town. While we could not get a reservation until 10:45 PM that nite, it was completely worth the wait! We had a really cool table which felt like it was in a... More

I came here for dinner with a friend while I was on a business trip. Another friend of mine had recommended it and I'm glad she did! The service was fantastic! The staff was so friendly and very accommodating. They gave great recommendations and accommodated for food allergies. The atmosphere was very hip and fun! The drinks were pretty unique,... More

Visited philly to see friends. This is our 2nd time to Buddakan. The calamari salad is wonderful. You will not be able to stop eating it. Ordered the Sea Bass, melted in my mouth. Cool experience.

Went here for a birthday with a group of 6. We were seated at a spacious round table when we arrived for our reservation. We decided to try the sampler menu which provides pretty much all you can eat of a variety of appetizers, main courses and desserts for a fixed price. The menu states that it is for parties... More

This place is my mainstay in Center City. The food is always high-quality Asian fusion, well presented and with enough variety and menu change to keep it interesting visit after visit. In particular, the lunchtime bento offering is outstanding. The wait staff are always friendly and helpful and the space and location are hard to beat. Highly recommended -- I can't... More

This is well run restaurant with a very professional staff. Nice atmosphere. ..lively but not over the top. Food was prepared expertly and with care. Delicious. The menu could use some work in its offering. A little too basic. Entrée prices very reasonable. ..wine list need work. Nothing under $75 a bottle.

A Philadelphia staple, Buddakan remains one of my favorite restaurants in Philadelphia. Always a great place to catch-up with friends and casual acquaintances over some great food and drinks. Highly recommend!

This is a cool restaurant with trendy decor and food. You would never guess from the outside what it is like on the inside. A "Joy" cocktail, tea soaked ribs, and edamame dumplings would have been plenty to eat, but it was fun sharing all of the other dishes at our table, including the bento box dessert. Will return!
