This is a cool restaurant, with a really happening vibe ... a place to see and be seen. The decor is chic, the staff seems quite full of self-importance .... the menu works hard to be original - extensive choices, pretty high end prices, tasting-style. The service was only fair, hard to get the attention of the server, I think... More

While at a conference three colleges and I enjoyed this wonderful restaurant. This is a vegetarian friendly restaurant with many healthy options. Everyone easily found an entree that easily and tastefully met their needs. Portion sizes are generous and designed for sharing. While I am not a cauliflower fan... their cauliflower display was exquisite. Sea bass was made to perfection.... More

A very happening place; throbbing music beat, constant din of the crowd, an "in" place with unique food offerings. Have never been there that it wasn't packed with locals and out-of-towners. Has to be Steven Starr's cash cow. All that said, I think it slipped a little on the food the last time we were there (June, 2015) for our... More

We had the "taster" menu - it's no taster! So much food. It was all delicious. We had the $70/per person menu, so I can't comment on anything else. It was truly outstanding.

I went to Buddakhan for dinner during my last day in Philly. The restaurant decor was captivating, I really loved it. We arrived 30 minutes early, so the bar tender whipped up two really awesome cocktails off the menu for us which was an absolute hit. About 20 minutes later, we were seated. I ordered the crab fried rice and... More

I went to Buddakan as part of a dinner for work. We were staying at the nearby Omni Hotel and wanted to eat out. The hotel staff recommended Buddakan and we were not disappointed! I worked with their catering staff to pick a dinner and drink menu for our group. We were seated in the middle of the restaurant near... More

There is a fantastic large Buddha sculpture placed along the wall in the middle of the restaurant which is beautiful, and the food was to die for. The meal was superb and the environment and service terrific. Only complaint is that the restaurant was really cold-we were seated by the window a/c. So bring a sweater. But do go to... More

We have been to Buddakan several times before and were looking forward to this visit. Oh my....quality of food has really gone down! I guess they are living off their reputation now. We ordered some of the same things we have had in the past and they just were not very good. We ordered five different dishes for our dinner.... More

Amazing food, and the restaurant is just beautiful. We had dinner there our first night and my girlfriend loved it!
