We visited Morimoto at the end of lunch time on a Sunday. The atmosphere was modern and clean, although a little dimmer than I prefer for lunch. Although I can't recall the name of my entree, it was fabulous! There was beef and veggies served in a stone bowl with rice. The bowl was heated to a very high temperature,... More

it was such a beautiful restaurant, i would go back just because the scenery was beautiful very chic and modern looking, the cocktails were on point- however the sushi, the sushi was alright, i've tasted better in LA, especially for that price range, i would definitely go back just for the ambiance but for the food, id rather explore and... I would definitely go here for lunch again, it is good value (though not cheap of course) i had salad with soup to start, followed by the penko crumbed chicken. It was all delicious, the staff were attentive, though it wasnt busy

A friend of mine decided to have Morimotos for lunch with me and the place was very trendy looking. The servers, hostess were extremely professional and friendly. We alerted them that my time was limited so they brought out the food very quickly! The rolls were fresh! The soup was so good and salad was authentic!!

In town for a long weekend, the last time ate here was a a couple of years back. This place is going to set you back some financially but what a fantastic gastronomic experience! As I did last time I went with the chef's tasting menu (Morimoto Omakase) while my companion had the sea bass. When each serving on the... More

If in Philadelphia, this is a must. Just beautiful and with very good food. The restaurant´s design and layout is just impressive and the food matches really well with the design. You will find good japanese food.

Server (Andrew) was nice, attentive and knowledgeable. I like when a server is honest with his opinion. Everything we had was amazing, and some things were just dynamite. Had wagyu carpaccio (waguy beef thinly sliced with yuzu, hot oil and mitsuba leaf) - beef was like butter; spicy king crab in the half shell - best version I've had, such... More

The restaurant architecture is simply spectacular.....lights,. ambience, shapes, .... must experience it. The experience is pricy though.Service was OK...nit as spectacular as I hoped for. Wine selection is also OK ... in addition they did not have a few choices available. The Ceviche, Hamachi and soups were excellent

Whenever in Philly, always try to get to Morimoto. Service is always excellent. Food is fresh. Most of the times we get the Omakase. They actually catered it to one of our guests since she was a newbie to Japanese food.

It was still light out when we arrived for our 615 dinner reservations. We barely saw the signage in front of the restaurant. And as we entered, our almost 5 year old son was amazed by the decor! We were quite amused by the color scheme and the ambience of the restaurant. I'm glad we chose to have the omakase!... More
