Some of the best Sushi you will ever eat.

Been to this place about 5 times. The Sushi is fantastic, and the tasting menu they offer is pricey but incredible. The servers are very very good and know the menu like no place you have been before. They can recommend dishes after asking you a few questions. The tasting menu changes based on... read more

One of the other restaurants Kate and I knew we wanted to try the moment we found out we were going to Philly was Morimoto, which is a name commonly associated with culinary excellence by television audiences. Naturally, we chose the Omakase. Whenever a restaurant offers to take care of all the decision making for you and serve you the... More

We have been to Morimoto at least a dozen times and have always been pleased. The sushi is always high quality and well prepared. Take advantage of the happy hour in the upstairs lounge. The prices for the happy hr are half of the regular menu and you still get the same experience. If you order off the regular menu... More

What a fabulous, fun place to dine. First, the décor. The booths were made of glass that kept changing colors. Really cool. The food was amazing. I had the Black Cod Miso, which was as good as Nobus. My husband had some dish like bimbambop, that was a hot pot with rice. The fish was seared on the edges of... More

The attention to detail is astounding. The food is luxurious, flavorful and satisfying! Went for dinner and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere. I'm a big Morimoto fan since his time on the original Iron Chef in Japan and I wasn't disappointed. With a nod towards tradition, Morimoto serves modern takes on the classics. Our waiter was knowledegable, and attentive. All of... More

Six of us met at Morimotos for dinner and it was wonderful. We arrived early and were greeted immediately. We were taken upstairs in a quiet area with small tables and a bar to wait until our table was ready. Right on time we were taken downstairs to our table. The room is very contemporary with small table and chair... More

Went for our four year anniversary and we were not disappointed. Excellent service, atmosphere and most importantly, excellent food! Try the tempura rock shrimp appetizer, best thing I have ever eaten.

I've had big dinner bills and when leaving the restaurant I was disappointed. At Morimoto, I wanted to spend more. This is the second Morimoto my wife and I have been to and it may have been better than the first. First off, we called the day of (Friday after thanksgiving) for reservations. Got 9PM reservations, but was told that... More

Love Morimoto and try to get there anytime I am in Philly. For the first time I sat at the sushi bar and was able to watch the highly skilled sushi chefs work their magic. The experience was incredible, you get such a wide variety of fish to choose from that would be almost impossible to find on your own... More
