After visiting Theatre, we visited The Lacroix for apres theatre celebration. Service was excellent; manager was more than expected and food was perfect! Normally, I am not too excited to eat in a hotel yet we had 2 promotions from Skyauction and we were in the neighborhood and urged to check-it out. We were entertained, pampered and had a great... We had dinner to celebrate a special occasion. The only very mild criticism was the decor--we definitely felt like we were in a hotel lobby. On the other hand we had a great window view of Rittenhouse Square. Everything else about the evening was superlative--food and service were both first rate. Going for the wine pairings rather than selecting the... More

Off to college, saying goodbye to your parents. Time to step up to adulthood and thank them for their infinite patience by using your own money to buy them brunch at Lacroix, preferable on a Sunday. They will thank you and be impressed by your maturity. Our brunch started with an actual tour of the kitchen and various hot dishes... More

Sunday brunch in an urban grand hotel is one of America's greatest contributions to dining. When in the States I always research brunch with care and will travel 2+ hours for the best available. La Croix has the bonus of a light French / international touch and immaculate service. It was everything it should have been, and while not cheap... More

See my all encompassing review of the hotel, that includes Lacroix. Simply stated, as we have always found on our visits to The Rittenhouse, a meal at Lacroix is a must. Last Friday, we celebrated my wife's birthday, with a stay at the hotel, and a very enjoyable meal at Lacroix. The menu was interesting, the food excellent (the chef... More

So elegant! So sophisticated! So upscale Philadelphia! I've had Tea before but this place knocks tea drinking out of the park. The tea menu is vast and the tea mistress actually had us smell each of the many available flavors. It was all so divine!!

My husband and I were fortunate to enjoy Sunday Brunch here on Father's Day and it was fantastic. We have never seen or eaten so much food and didn't eat again for the rest of the day. There was a huge array of foods available all beautifully presented and laid out for you to help yourself to throughout the restaurant... More

I don't know about other meals but we went to the Sunday brunch and it was memorable. First of all, Lacroix is very expensive so don't be surprised, but for a real treat, it is very special. The food and the staff were totally excellent. I am very critical and couldn't come up with anything that they could have done... More

We ate at Lacroix primarily because we had a long day and it was in the hotel. We mentioned when we sat that we were tired and hungry. Lots of staff was all over the place but everything took excessively long, including taking the order, bringing the bread and ultimately the food. Encouraging them as much as we could without... Dear Tripindicular (great name btw) Thank you for your feedback. A typical dining experience at Lacroix for dinner is about 2 hours. I am sorry your evening lasted longer. I hope you will try us again and let us know that you would like to be in and out in 1.5 to two hours. We will be happy to accomodate... More

I've had brunch at Lacroix three times and each time was consistently impeccable. The service is fabulous and the food is diverse and divine. The brunch is a buffet, served in stations around the beautiful restaurant and in the kitchen. Hors d'oeuvres, some quite unique such as strawberry soda shooters, are plentiful. The restaurant has little signs on each to... More
