What an experience

The cab had a hard time finding this place. Was a little spooky. The food and experience was authentic. We even had a belly dancer perform for us. There is only one food choice option. Served with no utensils. You are given a towel to wipe your hand and mouth. A unique experience.

Hard to find but worth it. First of all you have to know to get in, then it is extremely intimate and you lounge on couches to eat. It is an 8 or 9 course meal EXTREMELY reasonable and it invites you to talk to other people. A very fun experience, one I would do again when I visit Philadelphia... More

If you like bellydancing, yummy spicy food, darkly lit sitting on rugs and cushions, this is a great place. Its always crowded try to get a reservation but if they can squeeze you in they will do there best to get you a place. Big portions of spiced foods, you are bathed in rose water on your hands the meal... More

Six of us there for dinner, small intimate setting. Door is locked and you need to knock and wait for entry. We only saw a drink menu that was limited and ran out of Moroccan beer. The food is served family style and due to the seating around a low table for your group, you dine with a towel on... More

The experience from start to finish was stellar. We sat downstairs, where the ambience was great for a date night- there were crowds going upstairs - not sure what was going on. The food was oh so amazing - well seasoned , and I still crave the mint tea and baklava for dessert. Would defin recommend.

3 of us came in for dinner around 8:45 mid-week. The restaurant is on a side alley off of South Street and you need to ring a bell to be let in. It almost seemed liked a secret. We walked into a nicely decorated room with beautiful tapestries and wall hangings. There were only 2 other couples on the 1st... More

We showed up at about 5:30pm for dinner without reservations. Initially they were going to seat us but changed his mind after we talked a little while. The complete staff was very friendly. They have you wash your hands with rose water and then serve you 7 courses. You can even bring your own bottle of wine. It is very... More

Came here for dinner on my birthday a while back🎂, the staff was very attentive and accommodating to vegetarians. The decor music and food makes you feel as if you're in Morrocco. I had a great time especially when the belly dancer 💃 came out, I joined in. I highly recommend this place

Very nice place, very good meal, at a very good price. You get a 7 course meal for $25.00 no including beverage but you can bring your own. The belly dancer was good and we have a very good time there.

Though not my first visit, I return every year on my birthday. It's a one-of- a- kind experience, perfect to share with a dozen or so friends. It's shoes -off floor pillow seating around a large rotating table. An all finger fare with your palate being constantly and happily surprised. Around eight courses, no one goes hungry. A little hard... More
