Unusual Experience, Be prepared for an adventure

A group of 17 celebrated a family members 50th Birthday., it was a fun experience and although I am not a fan of eating with my fingers or the Moroccan cuisine I was along with the family group. WOW---talk about an experience! My husband and I both enjoyed the decor and the amazing multiple-course meal. It's definitely a good value for the amount of food that is served. AND wow---that eggplant! However, don't forget to bring cash since they do not take cards. I had to walk to an ATM during the meal.

The food is fantastic. Above all the passion of the host and a great team work. This is kind of very unusual for a fine or fine/casual restaurant. I felt I am being served by more than one server. My server Chris is awesome. His suggestions (on my asking) were perfectly correct after I had those food. I was kind... More

Went after seeing Trans-Siberian Orchestra at the Wells Fargo Center with friends and was not disappointed with this 'hole-in-the-wall' gem off of South Street! Reservations are recommended, especially close to weekends or with large groups, as this seems to be a popular place for locals. You are seated at a round-table with pillows so our party of 6 were seated... More

Recently dined at Marrakesh. It's located right off South Street in a small alley; very unassuming. Once inside, you noticed how eclectically decorated the restaurant is. They offer a 7 course meal that is certainly filling. Some dishes were much better than others but overall, I felt that the food was average. Towards the end of our evening, a belly... More

This is a resatuarnat down a dark alley just off a main street. you need to knock at the door to be let in. Very welcoming Maitre' d and staff. The food was great and the BEST chicken I have ever eaten!! Skip the wine list and go with the carafe wine--it is really quite good for $12. The menu... More

Friends and I went here in a group. It was a memorable experience. The food was great the combination of spices were superb. Tea was refreshing and fruit at the end was perfect. Must be opened minded and adventurous to go. Loved it

our second visit to marrakesh and it was equally wonderful as the first! Delicious ethnic food, belly dancers, plush cushions and oriental rugs, started off with hand washing in rose water.

The cab had a hard time finding this place. Was a little spooky. The food and experience was authentic. We even had a belly dancer perform for us. There is only one food choice option. Served with no utensils. You are given a towel to wipe your hand and mouth. A unique experience.

Hard to find but worth it. First of all you have to know to get in, then it is extremely intimate and you lounge on couches to eat. It is an 8 or 9 course meal EXTREMELY reasonable and it invites you to talk to other people. A very fun experience, one I would do again when I visit Philadelphia... More
