A delicious choice for dinner. We got the calzone which was huge. Service was great and the food was tasty.

Best Italian food in all of Philly! Great service & very generous portion sizes. Couldn't ask for more!

For a pre Mother's Day dinner, I treated a very inspiring woman to dinner at Marra's. I haven't been there since the early 90's and hoped it would be the same. It was average and if I wanted to complain it would be that I asked the server if anything comes with the Mother's Day entrees and she told me... More

I have beeen here plenty of times. It is the place you go with family or friends for an old fashioned red grave Italian dinner. See my pics of the food we had. Salad is included with dinner and a side of pasta!

Located next to rows of Italian restaurants, this place had great service but average food. Nice environment, rustic with giving of an"old neighborhood" feel. Prices were decent and portions good though.

I had a nice meal for my father's birthday celebration with the 10 of us. If you go during the week and early enough there is a sunset menu. I had the flounder franchias which was good. My kids enjoyed the pizza until they found a tomato slice under the cheese (they're kids they only like the sauce and ketchup...even... More

We go to Marra's several times a year. The host is always friendly and accommodating. The waitresses can be a bit curt at times. But, we usually get appetizers (fried calamari is delish), and pizza. Hard to mess that up. The brick oven pizza is so good, the sauce is amazing. The place could use some updating, but for me,... More

Old-style restaurant - no visible compromises with new cuisine. HUGE pizza, good old-style salad (no baby greens). We appreciated our meal but maybe this is better as a before-the-ball-game place than a date night. Staff were very personable and had great South Philly accents.

I grew up and spent most of my early life in South Philly, just a few blocks from Marra's. I only get back into town now occasionally, mostly to see old friends and family from the neighborhood and once in a while for business. When we were kids, Marra's was always a special place. For our family at the time,... More

We were there with a group of 8 early on a Saturday night, but a table was no problem. It did fill up while we were there though. Friendly people, nice atmosphere and reasonable prices. The food was not spectacular, and the service seemed to deteriorate as the meal progressed. Maybe the waitperson was overworked, but a bottle of wine... More
