Top of the Line

Simply one of the best most consistent restaurants around. The steaks are great, a cut and size for everyone. Had the 14oz sirloin cooked perfectly. The sides were also very good. The green beans being the best, sprouts were cooked a little well done and the parmesan fries were very good. Service... read more

Visited as part of a group of eight so between us we sampled a good selection of the menu, everybody loved their choice. The wine choice was also good and not silly expensive. Fine dining at its best.

We made reservations for a celebratory lunch for six for 12:00 noon. Prior to making reservations, we perused the online LUNCH menu to make sure that they offered something everyone would enjoy. When we arrived, we enjoyed the atmosphere and had an enjoyable drink at the bar. We were seated fairly quickly and were told that they had a very... More

We've had several terrific dinners at the Capital Grille. It rivals the best steakhouses in Philly (the late lamented Union Steakhouse and Butcher and Singer's) and is a better value the overpriced and pretentious famous steakhouse in town (Barclay Prime). The service is efficient and friendly. It's a serious steakhouse with the standard menu and sides, but everything is well-prepared... More

My wife and our friend and I decided on a steak place since we were going to see Kinky Boots that night and the restaurant opened at 4 pm on Sunday for Dinner. The food is amazing! My wife and I had the Delmonico steak and our friend had the filet, along with sides of string beans, au gratin potatoes... More

Had dinner here our first night in Philly. I had the tuna and my husband had a big steak and shrimp cocktail. No complaints from either of us. Everything was prepared perfectly. Our server Eric took great care of us and gave us a great dessert recommendation. Thanks Eric!

Took clients for a celebration of a special event. I had called ahead and alerted them to the event. We were greeted with a champagne toast almost immediately upon sitting. The menu is not vast but there is something for everyone. I was a bit disappointed in the wine list...it wasn't great. I had the tomato, mozzarella salad and it... More

We visited this place on thanksgiving. The service was terrible. The food was nothing special, but the prices were outrageous. The desserts looked like something from a warehouse club. Would never go back.

my partner decided he wanted salmon after work so i suggested capital grille..no one waiting for seating but us...and the hostess made us wait about 5 minutes before ushering us waaaay into the back of the restaurant, though we passed many empty tables...it felt like we were in the bowels of a ship so we stopped her before seating us... We went to dinner on Easter Sunday and we all had great meals. The food was prepared perfectly as ordered and delivered promptly. The service and ambiance were great. Our server was cordial and very personable. This place is very high end, so if you go there, make sure you are willing to pay premium prices.
