Great steak and fish; cooked to order. Appetizers were unique and well flavored. Staff was ok, but often had to track down. Expect to pay 100 per person with 2-3 drinks , appetizers and dinner.

We live and work nearby and have eaten here on dozens of occasions for lunch and dinner. Great location in an office building by major center city commercial, office, retail and tourist sites. Very comfortable dark wood paneling, English club feel with many clumsily painted genre copies. It is actually very nice especially if you do not look closely at... More

Very nice restaurant to entertain and discuss the historic places of Philadelphia. A serene gathering of doctors, lawyers, City of Phila workers and regular folk. Nice, white linen tablecloths, clean atmosphere. Staff very cordial. Haven't been in a while because of retirement. When I do have company, or shop in town this is one of my spots to give myself... We all know what we should expect from The Capital Grille; however, my experience did not live up to my expectations. I contemplate if my expectations were set to high or if the staff just fell short. Either way it was still very good. My expectation was that it be great! Don't take my review the wrong way, I was... This is certainly a high end restaurant, as is reflected by their prices. However, the quality of the food and service make it a worthwhile experience. While it isn't someplace we could afford to eat on a regular basis, my wife and I love to treat ourselves by going here on special occasions.

I couldn't have had better service, on time reservations, and great food. It is pricey for the average low income wage earner which is why you should go during restaurant week so you can experience the semi lifestyles of the mostly rich and famous. the service was phenomenal, the wait was short and reservations were on time, but mostly the... I was in Philadelphia on business in June and a group of us went to the Capital Grille for dinner. Not much else to say but their steaks are the best!!! I am a filet person and they cook it to perfection, juicy and tender. Potato au gratin and cream spinach, the best around. Wine is on the pricey side... More

Great service, delcious food. theres a reason it's a cut above most places. Food and service to me is on point. decor meh.. but nonetheless I like a nice quiet place to take someone out and enjoy our meal.
