The Avenue of the Arts is the perfect avenue to dry aged steaks, too. Philadelphia Magazine declared The Capital Grille “a carnivore’s dream.” Top off your fabulous meal with dreamy Chocolate Espresso Cake or Crème Brulée. Then stroll it off on your way to Kimmel Center or the theatre.

Great Restaurant

Always a great meal. Wonderful food especially steaks. Whenever we are in Philly this would always be my restaurant of choice.

We had a business lunch there with some current and prospective customers. Tried their truffle fries and could have eaten them only for my lunch.

Took my daughter for her 18th birthday before a show. She was captivated by the service and attention she received. The restaurant put a pink rose on the table for her and a birthday message. The food was outstanding. I highly recommend this place!

We had dinner here during restaurant week, as I refuse to pay $45+ a la carte for a piece of beef, when there are so many other great restaurants I can spend that money. However, the restaurant week 3-course offering is an absolute steal at $35 pp even if the tables are packed in a little tight. The chowder, steak,... More

My husband, daughter and myself went for dinner after seeing a show in Center City Philadelphia. The food was delicious and service was excellent. Have to try the calamari if you eat here, but definitely share.

Restaurant Week Philadelphia so my daughter suggested we try the Capital Grill. The place was packed and the tables were fitted pretty close to each other. At some points the waiter had difficulty moving. Nevertheless, the service was very good even though they try their hardest to up-sell... but that is their job I suppose. We had the chowder, Sirloin... More

We had been to the Capital Grille years ago and went back for the first time yesterday. I do enjoy the decor and the clubby atmosphere. Our server was great but the meal became a comedy of errors. Had a martini but they made it dirty which I didn't want and so I sent it back. The server was upset.... More

Nice place, they try hard to make your meal a pleasant experience. The staff was great and the menu average as was the food. Very predictable for a high volume, chain restaurant.

My boyfriend made a reservation for two of us for my birthday. The table was set with a rose and a card. The dinner was delicious and the birthday dessert was amazing.

Had been my favorite steakhouse until my last visit there for my birthday on December 27th. I had ordered the 10 oz filet mignon and at the waiter's suggestion added a Maine lobster tail at not an inconsiderable cost. The lobster tail was not at all sweet and only later while reviewing my bill did I find out that I... More
