First time ever saying "Compliments to the Chef"

One of the most amazing meals I have ever had was the rice dish that was prepared for vegans -- we are vegetarians only and my partner ordered the salmon which was excellent. Fearful of growing fins for eating so much fish, I opted for the unknown. It was fabulous. Also the pan de bueno was a... read more

Located in an old building in Rittenhouse Square area of Philly the atmosphere was great except for the noise. The food was excellent. I had the tuna which was as good as I've had anywhere...expertly prepared, very high quality fish and extremely well presented. My wife meal was equally as well done. Highly recommend.

For my birthday weekend in Philadelphia, Alma de Cuba was one of my stops. At the recommendation of a friend I made a reservation and was very very satisfied. The restaurants decoration does not match the outside I thought it was going to be a little more rustic. The restaurant is modern with great pictures paying tribute to Cuba's tabaco... More

What can I say about this place? Went there on New Year's Day for dinner. I am a fan of Cuban food to begin with so this was a place I have been eager to go to. Super fab decor- very attentive service and out of this world food. My advice is listen to your waiter's suggestion and make sure... More

My friend and I ate here on our girl's night. We had a reservation and were promptly seated. My only complaint is that the tables for 2 are seated extremely close to each other where we were in the restaurant. The waitstaff was excellent, very attentive and friendly. They served these unbelievable mini sweet rolls and dipping sauces. The drinks... More

A very characteristic building in downtown Philadelphia. The after work cocktail crowd are all there and the restaurant fills very quickly from the bar! Great mojito's and bar snacks and nice people serving. Good food at quite high prices, but the package makes it OK. Elevate to GREAT food and they will have to enlarge the floor space to accommodate... More

This was our introduction to Cuban "haute cuisine" and we enjoyed it very much. Several of us had different ceviche first courses and they all were superb. Service was excellent and very helpful in explain dishes with which we were not familiar

We went to this restaurant during Restaurant Week. My family was somewhat skeptical because they have never had Latin food before. Surprisingly, we all loved the restaurant, ambiance and service. I had the duck and it looked like a small portion but it was chock full of meat and very flavorfull. The chicken epanades were particularly delicious.
