Step off of South Street at Brainbridge and walk one block to Creperie L'Etage for a wonderful meal. The ambiance is French, from the curtains on the door, to the fireplace, to the positioning of tables. The menu is crepes and you get to choose savory (dinner) or sweet (dessert). We started with a cheese tray which gave the three... More

Dimly lit: check. French vibe: check. Accordion player: check. Cool little spot, but a shade pricey. The crepes were delicious, but we only opted to stop here for dessert so can't comment on the savory crepes. My only suggestion is to up the lighting a bit more. We were in a corner table and had to use the flashlights on... More

This was a dinner with my husband, daughter and her husband, and our two sons. Dinner for 5 with drinks came to $300. The food was good enough but the menu selections were cut in half and the wine list by the glass was slashed to about 3 each of red and white. All in all, if you have never... More

My parents wanted to make my birthday special and took me to Beau Monde. We opted for an early dinner. My parents are particular with their food choices. (They are not "adventurous" eaters and usually eat typical American and Italian foods.) In years past, I had a very hard time finding a place they enjoyed; we tried some of Philadelphia's... More

I went to Beau Monde for dinner with some work friends. I had the Grilled Chicken Breast, Leeks, Olives, Goat Cheese & Lemon Butter Crepe, was excellent. Was pleasantly surprised by the quality and size of the savory crepes, but still felt that in general was a bit overpriced.

Beau Monde has become a favorite restaurant of mine. The crepes are excellent, the service is wonderful, the cocktails are tasty and the atmosphere is comfortable and elegant. We have enjoyed four wonderful dinners and a brunch at Beau Monde and can honestly say that you will be happy with anything that you order but is you want to be... More

Went for brunch here after many years. Still great food, and the setting still charms. Excellent gazpacho with shrimp, and as always, fantastic crêpes-savory and sweet. Made for an all-around great brunch with friends.

We enjoy having brunch/lunch here at the Beau Monde Creperie. The location is just one block from the lively South Street shops/restaurants, and the ambience is very casual, pleasant with great window views on 2 sides since it is a corner restaurant. In the evening, the upstairs turns into a night club/dance place L'Etage...

I've been eating at Beau Monde for nearly 15 years. The menu and quality of the crepes never disappoint. Unfortunately, it seems that they changed their beverage distributor and certain alcoholic and nonalcoholic (Ace Pear Ale, Effervé Lemoande) items are no longer on their menus - they paired wonderfully with the light crepes. The location is great, the service is... More
