Very small bakery with limited kinds of cupcakes. They are all gluten free, peanut free, refined sugar free, vegan etc. Good one for vegans like me and people with food allergies. Wi fi available.

This place is full of fun and different baked goods that you normally don’t find in gluten free bakeries. And it’s safe for Celiacs! Cookie sandwiches, loaves, and donuts in particular were delicious!!

We went to Sweet Freedom Bakery after hearing that it had vegan baked goods. While it is great that this establishment is allergen free for those individuals with allergy issues, for a 15+ year ethical vegan looking for tasty sweets it is not so great. By first impression the presentation is not professional looking- I can make better looking cupcakes... More

Well of course these cupcakes don't taste like some other places that use white flour and processed sugar. If you eat healthy than you know the texture is different. We LOVE this place and travel from over an hour to get these treats. We usually spend about $40.

My wife recently found out she has food sensitivities to a variety of foods, including dairy, soy, gluten and sugar. Obviously, this makes it difficult to have any sort of baked goods. But I found Sweet Freedom online, and we checked it out when we visited Philadelphia for a day. The results? Easily the best allergy-friendly baked goods we've ever... More

I've never had a bad cupcake--that is true. I've had some that were better than others but, like pizza, it's difficult for me to flat out not finish a cupcake. Until now. I got a banana chocolate chip that I was going to eat in the car on our way home from church. Of course, I didn't wait until we... More

We purchased a lemon cake for my stepdaughters graduation... Cake was about $150 and it was picked up in PA the evening before the party and rode up to Mass the next morning.... The cake was terrible, so terrible that the dogs would not eat it. The frosting was decent, but the cake was so dense and heavy that it... More

I am a vegan and love cupcakes. I was visiting from out of state and was so excited to get a cupcake from some place different. I even had my cousin get one. We got the lemon berry, salted caramel and berry delight. The icing on the lemon and berry delight had a strange texture. Granted, the lemon icing was... More

I don't live in philly, but I wanted to try out their baked goods since they ship and I'm always looking for good gluten free desserts. We got some samoa cupcakes and they were good, but I have to say it was mostly the frosting that we enjoyed...the cupcakes were dense and heavy like they could easily go through a... More
