OK little restaurant that could be so much better. Better than OK! The service was friendly but disorganized. There appears to be an a absence of communication. For $50+ I ordered 3 small dishes and 2 beers. One of the dishes was half warm, half cold. Not at all hot. After I took a bite I realized the second dish... More

We walked in off the street and were very pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The staff were attentive and explained the menu to us, indicating that we might like to share some of the larger dishes. We had a very tasty meal accompanied by some nice wines. Pleasant dining with good value for money.

Jamonera is an intimate space with a small dining room and small bar. As such, reservations are wise- there was a line out the door when we left. Service is friendly and knowledgable. The menu is primarily small plates meant for sharing. If you want a larger meal there are full servings of paella. We tried a couple of strange... More

That evening I was looking for small plates dinner as I had no desire to have a big meal.. Only thing that struck was Tapas and google landed us up here.. It was my first time in Philly and this downtown restaurant won my heart.. We ordered papa Frita, much room coca and Spanish breakfast.. Amazingly cooked food.. Everything was... More

A very small restaurant with a long and well stock wine bar. Find Spanish Tapas small plate selections to accompany your wine selection. If not at the bar go for a table facing the street and the large street front windows for people watching.

Sure, it's not the most inexpensive place in Philly. However, there are tapas you won't find at other tapas bars, even in Spain. The shishito peppers and the Brussels sprouts were fantastic, and I'm not a vegetarian!

Absolutely couldn't sing higher praises about this charming restaurant! We had about 5 shared tapas plates between two people and it was more than enough, and we loved every single bite! My guest and I spent a semester in Spain together while we were in college, and we absolutely felt like we were back in Spain. The food was authentic,... More

Oh my heavens! This is probably one of the most delicious meals I have had. The service was excellent. The food is amazing. The white sangria is very refreshing. I had the bacon wrapped dates that absolutely melt in your mouth. The special salad was jamon and melon. Paper thin slices of deliciously cured ham and juicy cantaloupe mixed with... More

Douglas mixed up an espresso martini which was out of this world! The white sangria's are delicious and very refreshing after a hot day. The food is tapas so we ended up with 4 different dishes along with the complimentary dish of assorted olives. The stuffed dates are wrapped with a smokey bacon and were a huge hit. We also... More

This is one of several restaurants owned by Marcie Turney and Valerie Safran--they're turning 13th St. into a veritable empire of fine restaurants! We visited on a Sunday night, and the place was packed, but even with the crowds the service was prompt, well-paced, and friendly. The food was wonderful! The selection is not huge, but it's a very good... More
