We unexpectedly found ourselves in Philadelphia on a Friday evening and we're looking for a unique meal at a place that could accommodate our family without reservations. The neighborhood around Jamonera is perfect for some pre-meal window shopping and is an easy walk from the Marriott and other center city hotels. Although we would have been better off with reservations,... More

The tapas were wonderful. Pulpo the best and the tuna delicious. Scallops and albondigas were delish also. Not fond of the tortilla espanola...lacked something...onions? garlic? Wine was pricey. Delicious bunuelos and ice cream.

Enjoyed a pleasant dinner at the bar on a busy Friday evening. I'm not an expert on tapas or Spain but I truly enjoyed the food and experience. I had the Spanish breakfast for an appetizer which is quail eggs, sausage, carmelized onions on toast sprinkled with cheese. I then had the striped sea bass which had an excellent flavor.... More

I was in Philadelphia for just one night and our meal out was here. We discovered Jamonera while walking from Independence Hall to Rittenhouse Square. We came back later for dinner and it far exceeded our expectations. Loved the Warm Medjool Dates and the Eggplant fries (Berenjenas). Everything was incredibly fresh and the service was prompt and friendly. My wife... More

A cozy place with great food, service and ambiance. Jamonera does a great job portraying the Spanish Tapas restaurant and their food is very good. One shortcoming is they only have one Spanish beer...they need to work on that...

We were in town for a convention, and looking for supper on a rainy night. We ducked into the Jamonera, and decided to stay. The food was amazing, and the portions are very generous. We ordered different appetizers and meals so we could share and try more of the outstanding food. Upon leaving, we were told the chef was on... More

My family traveled to Spain last year and wanted to compare the tapas to those we enjoyed in Spain. We were not disappointed. We started with a cheese board that was not only a great selection of four cheeses but the portion was very generous. The eggplant fries were excellent and the sauce that accompanied them accentuated the taste, The... More

We ate here last night. The food was outstanding, well presented and there were plenty of non meat choices. We picked 5 dishes to share for 2, and it was more than enough. Every dish was seasoned perfectly. Prices are very reasonable, 7-22$ for fairly big tapas dishes. Not too much to be stuffed. The spanish wine selection was really... More

This place is delicious, well priced and worth a visit. We were a group of 4 and shared a number of dishes on the food and drink menu. It was glorious, the server timed our orders perfectly and we enjoyed 2 hours of a constant stream of unbelievably amazing food. It was a little dark in the place which could... More
