Gluten free heaven

If you are gluten intolerant this is the place to come and check out. I was amazed with the meal I had. I got a pita bread dish with feta cheese, tomatoes, olives, etc. on the sides. My wife is not gluten intolerant and ordered a normal pizza and was totally impressed. There is a large variety of... read more

Also I order a topping for whole pizza and they only placed on half of pizza..not very happy about this experience and the pizza was pretty pricey to start with and... More

I have a celiac son. It's hard for our family to find restaurants where we feel 100% comfortable that our son won't get glutened. The Tomato Bistro is one of those rare, wonderful places. We've been to only a handful of restaurants where our celiac son has almost a full menu of gluten-free choices, and The Tomato Bistro is such... More

My Sister and I took my Mother out for pizza. She has Celiac Disease and cannot eat gluten. Plenty of gluten free options at the Tomato. We took her there in search of gluten free pizza that she would actually like. We have not had much success in this dept. She REALLY liked it. Finally!!! I had the buffalo chicken... More

Pan fried artichokes and crab salad were really good. But you can't leave this restaurant without trying the tomato bisque. You will probably also buy some to take home. We did. The only issues are waiting for tables and having a slightly uncomfortable seat. But the food makes up for everything.

Found this very cool atmosphere in cute/funky Mannyunk area. Many choices of broad range of food from vegan healthy to bar food-like choices with real meat! They are very accommodating to dietary restrictions also! Service and atmosphere very good - food quality a 3 - 3,5.

We really enjoy the upstairs bistro. The food is delicious - I find the menu creative without straying from the basics, so there is always something for everyone in the party. The bistro has a fantastic gluten free menu as well, which is important for us, so there are always plenty of options.

We drove into town for this restaurant and it was definitely worth it. They have free valet parking, so you don't have to find a spot on the street. The first floor is a cafe and take-out area but upstairs on the second and third floors is an amazing sit down restaurant! Our waitress was awesome and gave us great... More

This is a long review but it's well-deserved. Last night was my first time here and it was phenom-nom-nomenal!!My date and I had the entire third floor to ourselves and couldn't have been happier. Our server, Phil, was prompt and helpful the whole night. Take advantage of their daily specials (Tuesdays are half-off glasses AND bottles of wine). After we... More
