"Fabulous"

My philosophy on dinner out is to go somewhere fun and have food I don't make at home. The food at Vedge was outstanding, creative and delicious. Staff was friendly and offered informative suggestions on the various choices. One of the best places I have ever eaten and I'm not a vegetarian.

I am not a vegetarian or vegan. My daughter, a vegan, was dying to go to this place. I reluctantly acquiecsed and was happy surprised. The food is absolutely divine - filled with flavor in every bite and mouthful. There was no need to season with any salt or pepper and I did not miss the animal protein. We had... More

After going vegetarian a couple years ago, I happened on Vedge's cookbook and have been dying to go there ever since. Since my daughter goes to school in Philadelphia, that wasn't just a pipe dream, but I hit resistance from the non-veg folks in my family (ie, everyone else). This trip I just made a reservation and told them it... More

I was a bit skeptical coming here - as a meat lover in Philly, I figured this meal would be a warm up to a cheesesteak from Gino's or Pat's. Boy was I wrong. Every single item on the menu was absolutely delicious. Great presentation, and the taste was phenomenal. Can't wait to go back again.

With vegetables (and fruit) as the centerpiece items, it may seem like you will miss everything else. You won't. This stylish restaurant feels comfortable and not overdone. The staff is very helpful, and we followed the advice of them to do a starter, a main, and what they called "dirt" - also known as a side! We started with beets... More

We came here for our anniversary dinner because of all the great things we read about the chef. The place was packed and immediately gave us a good vibe for the meal to come. Our server was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable of the menu. We ordered a few dishes from each part of the menu to create an impromptu tasting.... More

After reading great reviews on this restaurants, we made reservation for dinner. Food was not impressive for what you pay. The food was made to look fancy but the taste/flavors were lacking. I was not impressed, I have been to other all vegetarian restaurants and experienced good food. Do not recommend!

i was just shocked with all the food that was vedgy and still tasted like the real deal. the grilled seitan was my favorite, and it taste like the best chicken you ever taste even though it is veggie. the desert is wow, would not believe the ingredients. the stuffed avocado, the spicy grilled tofu, the fingerling potato. dessert: Sweet... I am one of the most pickiest eaters you'll find. Food does not excite nor thrill me and yet my palate was brought to life here. Beautiful setting, excellent service and fabulous food. Dinner for two with drinks approximately $120 but worth it.

I am not a vegan nor a vegetarian, but this place is unbelievable. What the chef has created will delight you. We were a party of six so we shared everything. We actually ordered one of everything on both the dinner and desert menu. One item was better than the next. If I had a blindfold on, I would have... More
