Great burger and fries! Must go!

This place quite possibly made the best burger I've had in Philadelphia. I love the build your own burger options. Mine goes something like this: Two burger patties American cheese Bacon Fried Egg Raw onion Jalapenos Arugula (optional) Mayo Not your style? Weren't you paying... read more

This is one of my faves in Philly for years. Lived in Philly when the place first opened, brought a ton of people to them. Returned for business last week, had to see if it was still awesome. Happy to report with a resounding YES. Not sure there's a better burger under $10 in the city, and a bunch of... More

I am not a fan of red meat but really, really like the burgers at 500 Degrees. Service could improve a little (they never seem to have enough help) but if you're in the mood for a really good burger then you should definitely give it a try (it's better than most of the better burger joints in the area).

One daughter had a burger with bacon that she enjoyed. I tasted the other daughter's portabella "burger," which was amazing - the best I'd ever had. Also loved that this hole in the wall was clean.

Very friendly staff and the most delicious, mouth-watering combination of ingredients between two pieces of a bun ever! Me and a friend were just walking down the street when we stumbled upon 500 degrees and since we were craving burgers decided to try it out. Best decision of a our few days in Philly! The meat was perfectly done (medium... More

I walked into 500 Degrees at 10:30pm on a Thursday night. The sign on the door clearly stated it was open until 11:00pm. (So does the hours posted on Tripadvisor) The young kid at the register was busy chatting with a group of his friends who were talking about where to go drinking. He looked at me with as much... It used to be my preferred burger place in town but after last visit it appears that the quality is dropping a bit - the idea is still great, with possibility to make its own burger from scratch, with tens of ingredients to choose from. But while previously it was perfectly prepared and served, most recent experience was rather the... More

During my visit to philly, someone advised me to try it! I took the classic 500 degrees' burger. It was a fair burger not as I was expected... The fries were not crispy...I didn't like! It wasn't a great experience unfortunately...

Really I'd give this 3.5 stars because it is a little better than average. I went for lunch during the work day and it was not crowded at all which is nice because it is tiny inside. My burger was good. I wouldn't rave about it. The fries were good too (garlic parmesan). I know I'm using the word good... More

It has a lot of hype and a lot of choices. I didn't really like the $12 burger choices but it was good. I wouldn't stop out of my way here again. Their fries didn't taste like much and seating is limited. The staff really wasn't too friendly when we asked questions. They have a large selection so there are... More
