good food and great beet

I love the Wednesday nite gappy hour. $5 for a half liter of beer. They have a great selection and fire pits out back to keep warm when you want to gang outside despite it being winter.

They have a nice selection of German beers by the liter or half liter, along with German style food. They have beer hall like tables, entertainment, pool, and Jenga at the tables. There was an indoor area that leads into a private courtyard with fire pits and heaters. Great place to have a drink.

We visited here one night after work. It is self seat, menus and order from bar. Food is very good, enough to share. Plenty of beers to choose from. Large place. Clean and well priced. Parking was only street parking on this visit.

This is a terrific beer hall with lots of beer options, as well as bratwurst. There's a ping pong table too. Lots of outdoor seating at long tables which is fun and social.

Not much more to add from what others have posted but a really fun place for all ages. Mostly a 30+ crowd but we were there for the Temple game so really busy and fun. they had a bunch of activity games and good beer. Fun time with many other bar and restaurants to walk too as well.

The food was so so, but the place is really fun for singles as well as couples. Good selection of German beers served in 1/2 liter as well as full liter mugs. Lines at the bar can get long, but the staff works quickly.

A good staple in Fishtown. They have a variety of seating and activities for whatever you are feeling to hang out with friends. A warm atmosphere despite being mostly outside. The fire pits and heaters keep things warm. Good beer of course and a great selection of German inspired treats with an American take. The S'more's shake (with Jack) is... More

Hung out in the beer garden while I waited for my pizza. The beer was reasonably priced for the size and has a great variety

Maybe I was expecting something different but I wasn't impressed. The beer selection was very good and the food decent but the atmosphere was dusty bar with a stale beer smell.

Played jenga while waiting. Good was pretty good and beer was very large. The indoor/outdoor atmosphere was really neat.
