German style biergarten

Fashioned after a German beer garden (though I can't say that I have visited the real deal). Some german draft beers on tap. Bitburger, Hofbrau, Paulaner... Food is so so. The space is inviting, cool, and well laid out. Lots of exposed brick, and natural wood. Used to be a functioning... read more

Sat outside at picnic tables, loved the food selection. Beers were great. Even brought the kids who were entertained with the ping pong tables. An absolute fun time with surprisingly good food. Must get curry spiced ketchup!

Great place to try some new beers and get some great German food. Outdoors in the beer garden is a good time, even in the winter!

We arrived on a warm and breezy Mother's Day afternoon, and the weather was perfect for the place, a big brick warehouse with windows wide open, long tables, kids playing ping pong. There is both indoor and outdoor seating, an open air beer garden with bar inside, and a self serve counter for food - big burgers, sausages served with... More

We stopped in while in fish town, on a wintry night and couldn't get served. I think it would be a great summer beer garden, we hung out by the fire pits which were cosy.

We happened upon Frankfort Hall in Fishtown on the advice of a friend. Picture a big warehouse feel mixed with a German beer garden. We had great food - mushroom strudel and a burger - and a wonderful grapefruit beer. You pay individually, when you order, so there's no hashing out who owes what when the check comes. Really fun... Went with friends for lunch. We were attending a Bavarian festival with friends. Great ambiance. Food consisted of pretzels and brats. That was just so so. However, my husband did get French fries with curry ketchup and they were fabulous. although everyone else had the German beer I settled for a glass of German white wine. Day was sunny and... More

Good service, no bartenders or waitress bothering you. Good beers .5 and 1L beers prices are okay. Ping pong table inside and outside. Good atmosphere inside and a really nice place outside with benches and fire in winter. I really recommend. Especially should try the cocktail with beer.

This is a fun place for us and our four year old son. We enjoy beers while he plays Jenga. Great German beer selection. Food is good enough. Bratwurst, knockwurst, and similar.

Frankford Hall is the place to go for basic, yet delicious German food and the beer selection can't be beat. They offer authentic German beer on tap in huge steins and the outdoor biergarten has fire pits, bench seating, and beautiful lighting at night. Inside, there are foosball tables, and table games for the kids.
