This was a disappointment. The food, while sounding interesting on menu, was not well prepared and seemed beyond the ability of the kitchen, at least on the night we attended. Service was also very disappointing. Would not recommend other than for light fare and drinks

just had drinks and snacks... but everything was amazing. The cocktails are a work of art. (that could get you in trouble if you were not careful!) Interesting combinations of alcohol and flavors. Next time I am in Philly, I will try dinner. The atmosphere is really neat, the bar opens onto the street. It has a laid back 1920s... More

This is what happened to my wife and girlfriend of 34 years as we were looking for a place to eat prior to a show. Yes the two women are the same person! Don't pass up a chance to enjoy the ambiance and culinary brilliance of this eatery. I was quite impressed with the bone in lamb with home mashed... More

The restaurant is fashioned after a speakeasy. The drinks are fun. Only two red wines to choose from by the glass. Fun beers. Homemade pickles. Nice cheeses. Nice fresh food farm to table. The service was friendly. The food was good. An interesting menu. After 8 PM there is jazz piano music.

I have been trying to get this place for the past year. I finally made it!! I enjoyed the decor and decided to sit at the bar. I liked the old barrel tables, the staff's outfits and the dimly lit environment. I was just here for drinks and luckily that's all because they were PRICEY!! You are definitely paying for... More

By far one of the worst meals I have had in Philadelphia. I had the rabbit, it was overcooked and tasted like charcoal. Everything was thrown on the plate and looked like no one cares. My husband had the quail, it was over cooked and dry. My friend's ribs were tasteless. The chocolate dessert tasted like a Tasty Cake, that... More

We visited here for restaurant week and while we choose to go there because of their different menu selection, we found they were trying just a little too hard. Their menu consists of what they call farm fresh items and are a little more rustic with duck, rabbit and venison. Unfortunately, the main courses were just too over the top... More

My husband and I went to the Farmers Cabinet during restaurant week. We got there at 4:30 and they allowed us to go to our table and warm up even through the kitchen did not open until 5:00. How wonderful is that, it was about 15 degrees and I was half frozen, most places would make you sit by the... More

The food we ordered was clearly in-house made and it was done so with style and flavor. The portions were good albeit a little small, and the selection was adequate although not overly inspired. The decor is different with long communal tables that don't quite work when next to you is a party with young children - although why people... More
