Book a table at Talula's Garden if you are in Philadelphia - you won't regret it. There for the first time recently I was extremely impressed with everything - service, decor, knowledge of staff. But what impressed me the most was the Seared Day Boat Scallop dish - the best scallop dish I have had ever! The scallops were large,... More

You will not be disappointed!! Typically every waitresses worst nightmare, we arrived just before the kitchen closed on a Sunday night and were still treated to great service by Kate. The menu included fresh, local delicious food that delighted the taste buds from appetizer to dessert. Try the chicken liver mousse, the duck and the cheesecake. You will be talking... More

This is an outstanding restaurant! If you are in Center City in Philly, make the walk or take a cab to Washington Square to experience this place. The service is excellent, attentive but not overdone. The menu items (cocktails, starters, entrees, and desserts) are all wonderful!

The waitress was very knowledgable and the chef was excited to make us a mystery vegan meal. Their water and wines are superb. The tables are relaxing. Wonderful experience.

Came here for Valentines Day and had the most spectacular evening. A beautiful restaurant that feels like a South Carolina garden indoors. The food is local, organic, sustainable and just delicious. Just go here for a special evening - you can't go wrong. good for a group, friends or intimate dinner.

I am a big brunch person- It is my favorite thing to do in the whole wide world. And my wonderful daughter brought me here for my birthday celebration. I was so impressed with the lovely, warm and inviting décor that even on a rainy Sunday, I was intrigued by its beauty-It was like a French countryside Inn combined with... More

Our friend from Philly recommended this place. It was absolutely delicious. From the cheese platter (not your Grannys cheese plate) to the appetizers (watercress soup, foie gras, and watercress/mushroom salad with chicken liver) to the main dishes (duck, pork chops, striped bass). The portions aren't small either. So, please don't be afraid that you're paying for something luxurious and tiny.... More

I joined six friends, two of whom had recently eaten at Talula's and loved it. I was expecting to, also. The waitress pushed the cheese plates hard and we ordered two. I thought the cheeses were good but overpriced for the amounts served. My particular entree was served luke warm. It was sent back to be (re)heated, but only the... More

I had dinner here last week, and found it absolutely superb in every sense. The ingredients are of the best quality and every dish was prepared to perfection, and imaginatively presented. The room is very nice -- warm and cozy and quiet enough for conversation, and service was excellent. It's expensive but you definitely get what you pay for and... More

I did not know what to expect but I had a great experience here. The atmosphere is quaint with a creative flair. The food and drinks were delicious! We will be definitely going back to eat outside when the weather gets warmer. Another fantastic Stephen Starr Restaurant!
