We decided to have a special dinner outside our Metropolitan NY range and after doing research on tripadvisor settled on Talula's Garden. The choice couldn't have been better! The greeting at the reception and showing us to our table was impeccable; the waitress was completely knowledgeable about any details of the menu and - last but not least - the... More

I went with a colleague to celebrate her birthday. It was freezing so we did not sit in the garden, but the interior décor is great - dark beams, botanical prints and recycled architectural materials - and the food better. We shared the Master Collection of 8 cheeses with nuts and jams as an appetizer - arranged like a wine... More

Great atmosphere. Even better food. Had the breakfast burger and drinks. Friend and I agreed one of the best burgers we have ever had.

2 of us went for a weekday lunch. We thought sharing a cheese board & tap water would be quick. Not so. When the server eventually brought the cheese board sans water, she graciously described each of the 7? cheeses, the 3 spreads, pepperoni and "dried fruits." She kindly told us if we wanted more bread to just let her... More

We went to Talula's garden at peak dinner hour on a Saturday night after making reservations about six weeks in advance. It's worth the wait! The food and service were both top notch. Order a cheese plate! The seasonal (and quite local) menu was thoughtful and creative without feeling contrived. The overall feeling in the restaurant is contemporary and focused... More

From the moment we walked thru the gate we were amazed by the decor. It totally takes you away from the city feeling and into a modern country oasis. Not only is the ambiance visually pleasing but the food is well balanced and extremely flavorful. I couldn't say enough good things about this place!

I had dinner here with my wife while visiting Phili. We got to the restaurant early and spent some time at the bar. Knowledgeable bar tenders will hook you up with their creations if you like being adventurous and want something different. Complementary bites were provided by the kitchen which was a nice touch. Even though the restaurant was full,... More

Two of us went to dinner about 8:30 on a Wednesday and the place was hopping. Menu had a nice variety of atypical choices and looks like it is changed monthly. I had the acorn squash soup which was garnished with yogurt, lime and basil. Very tasty. My trout for the main course was served on a bed of green... More

We have been here twice, and both times have been some of my favorite dining experiences! Weather permitting, try to sit outside. And definitely order the soup (regardless of season)!

I was looking forward to having dinner following some good reviews. I ordered the pasta for mains. Unfortunately I think the dish had been sitting at the pass under the lights for too long as the sauce was starting to congeal. The other mains were average at best. Not what you would expect given the price. The cheese was nice... More
