We were staying around the corner and went here on a Tuesday. Unfortunately, they were fully booked, but we got seats at the bar. Bar guy was very attentive and we didn't have to wait long for the food. Food was good, but I think it was a little pricey for what we got. Ambiance was good and would go... More

The restaurant and outside area are nicely decorated and give off a good vibe. The outside tables are so close you hear the people speaking around you, which I find distracting. The service started slow but got better. I think it comes off a bit pompous and that is reflected in the menu. Every dish is "busy" or complicated and... More

This restaurant was outstanding in every facet. My wife and I have never been to a restaurant that made you feel more welcome and were accommodating to our request. Our server Corey and the general manager Jenny were perfect. We sat down an saw a table that would be better for us, so we asked to move, no problem. They... More

Surly waitreses, cold food, poor service and a pompous atmosphere makes this a no go for us to ever return. I don't need to pay a lot of money to be treated poorly and will never return. The food was just OK, not great and completely overrated. How do these Starr restaurants keep raking in all the good reviews when... More

We would go back there and/or recommend to others. Nice atmosphere, good food, quality staff. Great cheese plates!

My daughter took me here recently to have a girls night out. She chose the restaurant because she is more of a foodie than I am. We started off in the bar with a glass of wine. The bar is small but has a great atmosphere. We decided to do the tasting menu and she added the wine pairings to... More

My husband and I ate here last week and we could not have asked for a better dining experience. Our server was very knowledgable and gave excellent suggestions. They have a beautiful outdoor area and our table inside was quiet and the interior space is pretty. The food is gorgeous and put together in a creative way. We will definitely... More

Give yourself a treat and make a reservation for dinner. Everything my table ordered was superb. Talula's like her cheeses so do start with that. Our waiter described each one perfectly. The atmosphere is lively, but we could hear ourselves comfortably above the noise.

I've eaten at Talula Garden twice, first was for dessert, where we had also had cheese plates. The experience was great, the cheese selection was delicious and the dessert was interesting (chocolate with bacon). After seeing the mouthwatering dishes of the table next to ours, we came back to restaurant again the next time we visited Philadelphia (we're from NY)... More

We went here for a group dinner (business colleagues) and we had an excellent time. All the food was delicious, and the wait staff attentive and courteous. We were a large group (8 persons), and the restaurant was full that Thursday night, but the waitress warned us there might be a wait for our food. They brought us several baskets... More
