Perch Pub has been completely renovated into a comfortable, relaxed, unpretentious pub. The dining room and bar has one of the best dining views in the city for people watching- separate areas for a pool table and dart board. Other amenities include a juke box, HDTVs and a large drop-down projection screen in the dining room for those big games. The interior has the feel of a time-less pub; lots of rich mahogany finishes complimented by large areas of exposed brick and metal beams. Perch promises to have pub grub excellence with Chef Bill Carroll at the kitchen helm. Open at 4PM seven days a week with plans to expand our hours of operation to lunch Monday through Friday and a Saturday / Sunday brunch.

Unsuspecting Pleasant Surprise

Tucked away on the second floor overlooking Broad and Locust in central Philadelphia, this little gem was discovered by accident. If you are walking up South Street to downtown, this is the first semi-decent place. Upstairs bar. Decor old style. Food very very average bar food. Friendly, fast and did the job Prob won't return

I really did not enjoy my meal here. To top it off, the prices here are not cheap. I could only eat 2 bites out of my burger, since it had a very funny/odd taste & my fries were lukewarm at best. The nachos were okay. Overall, my family did not enjoy the meal here.

Bartender was outstanding and the only reason they didn't score a average. Food was ok far from great. Good beer selection of on tap and even better bottled. AC could use a tune up as it was warm up there. Come for the drinks and bartender.

Went to this restaurant because of convenience (right across from the Double Tree by Hilton hotel). Also, all the other restaurants had a really long wait and there wasn't a wait for this one. The food was good. Your typical menu of Pub Grub. Everyone was happy with their dishes. I would definitely go back if in area and looking... More

Right around the corner from The Doubletree. Great selection of beers and wines. Cozy atmosphere and rustic décor. Only stopped in for drinks but food looked appetizing.

Dined here on a Sat night, with a reservation through open table. Located on a side street, wasn't quite as busy as other restaurants. Food and service were very good. Atmosphere is very nice, located on 2nd floor. I would definitely dine here again.

Nice little pub on the second floor across from Academy of Music. Good place to people watch while enjoying a bite before going to a show.

On Monday May 18, 2015 I walked across Locust Street from the Double Tree Hotel to grab a quick bite. The restaurant is up a flight of stairs on the second floor. The restaurant has a pub-like feel with its dark wood floors and walls and subdued lighting. I was seated quickly at around 7:00 PM and ordered baked Mac... More

Had my first hamburger in months and it was decadent. Full of buttery flavor and fresh toppings. The waiter was attentive and since it was Sunday, the brunch was available until 3:00pm. Clean, pleasant but maybe a little loud as the place was full.
