Description: Perch Pub has been completely renovated into a comfortable, relaxed...
Perch Pub has been completely renovated into a comfortable, relaxed, unpretentious pub. The dining room and bar has one of the best dining views in the city for people watching- separate areas for a pool table and dart board. Other amenities include a juke box, HDTVs and a large drop-down projection screen in the dining room for those big games. The interior has the feel of a time-less pub; lots of rich mahogany finishes complimented by large areas of exposed brick and metal beams. Perch promises to have pub grub excellence with Chef Bill Carroll at the kitchen helm. Open at 4PM seven days a week with plans to expand our hours of operation to lunch Monday through Friday and a Saturday / Sunday brunch.

Good, could be better

Great atmosphere, which was what drew us in. The Funky Monkey Martini was fantastic. It was like drinking a cookie. I had the mac and cheese with pulled pork - i felt that it could have used a bit more seasoning for that the pork could have been bbq. Just a little bland for my taste, but... read more

The Perch Pub has a very extensive list of draft and bottled beers, whiskeys, Scotches and a good menu of pub grub. The draft beers are not the tired old list that is often found everywhere. The Cuban sandwich was excellent and so was the burger reported my wife. Salad and fries enough for three or four people. Get a... More

We actually got the suggestion from a waitress from another bar in town. We got there sat down and ordered our drinks and then the waiter left and never came back to our table. We waited for fifteen minutes and then left. Thanks to him for being so cruddy that we ended up having a fantastic time at another place.... More

We didn't eat-just stopped by for drinks. Restaurant part just closed but the food smelled delicious! Beers were fine but nothing great on tap. They were out if the Cape May beer and my supposed wheat beer wasn't good-far too bitter and it made me wonder if the bartender really know what's a wheat beer. 20ish crowd so we felt... More

Must get the same "window" table. Must try something just as incredible as the "salmon" dish. Must knock out the walls in my home to match this decor. Must shoot a game of pool in the back room. Must return.

In the middle of the bustling bar and entertainment area of Center City, we had a great meal here, although service was a little unfriendly. It was later in the evening so maybe that had something to do with it. Close to many other places, and would definitely try again when back in the area.

The food here was good. Great beer selection too. It's located right in the theatre district. We were seated promptly. Took a while to get our drinks.

Visited here after a show at the Academy of Music because of the convenience. Was not disappointed. The hostess and service were both very friendly. There were so many good things on the menu to choose from and every plate that came out of the kitchen looked awesome. I ordered the chicken/spinach sandwich. It was terrific. Could have used more... Wanted brunch at another highly rated establishment but an hour wait for 2 had us reconsider. Glad we came here instead. Friendly service, welcoming atmosphere, and the huevos rancheros and coffee were excellent! Would definitely return.

Just across Broad Street from the Academy of Music & a block away from the Kimmel Center, Perch Pub is both convenient & worthwhile for food & refreshments before the music. Sitting upstairs at the good-looking, wood-paneled bar before a recent Sunday matinee, we enjoyed Bloody Mary's & bulging tasty hot colorful veggie omelets, served with home fries, a pile... More
