Perch Pub has been completely renovated into a comfortable, relaxed, unpretentious pub. The dining room and bar has one of the best dining views in the city for people watching- separate areas for a pool table and dart board. Other amenities include a juke box, HDTVs and a large drop-down projection screen in the dining room for those big games. The interior has the feel of a time-less pub; lots of rich mahogany finishes complimented by large areas of exposed brick and metal beams. Perch promises to have pub grub excellence with Chef Bill Carroll at the kitchen helm. Open at 4PM seven days a week with plans to expand our hours of operation to lunch Monday through Friday and a Saturday / Sunday brunch.

Perch is a second floor restaurant, scheduled to close some time this year due to property redevelopment. Like many others, we used to visit Varalli's (1st floor rest.) when going to the Kimmel or Academy but that's now closed. We were very pleased with our first trip to the Perch. Big crowd, high noise level, make reservation. Manhattan Clam Chowder... More

Our hotel was across the road from the Perch, so we thought we would check it out on our first afternoon in the city as were feeling a bit thirsty...liked it so much we came back several other times over the next week or so. Friendly staff who know their stuff, good food, and a wide selection of beer. My... More

Visited for lunch before the holidays during a day trip to the city. Great beer list! Nice menu and good burgers. Great view of the city and the hustle and bustle of S. Broad St. A must if you are taking in a show at the Kimmel Center or the Academy of Music!

I really enjoyed Perch Pub. We were staying across the street at the Doubletree and went over several times. The bartenders and servers were great. I especially liked the blackened salmon BLT and the deviled eggs made with toasted sesame oil.

On the advice of a local, we climbed up a spiral staircase to a lively bar scene with an excellent casual menu. Just what we were looking forward to after a late arrival at our hotel across the street.

We went to the Perch Pub to eat before a show at the Academy of Music. It was a 7pm show and we arrived at the pub at 5:35 for a 5;45 reservation and were seated pretty quickly. However we were not given any menu's to look over, it took a LONG time for our server to even come over.... More

The Perch Pub is as close as you can get to the Academy of Music for a decent meal. We went before the show and it was fairly busy. The staff was pleasant and helpful with suggestions. Our server was either overwhelmed or new, don't know which, but she brought us food that we didn't order-more than once. The food... More

My husband and I had dinner hear before a play..we wanted basically low key and convenience. Perch fit the bill. I ordered a hamburger. Decent burger- have had better. Salad was wonderful. Fresh, tasty and variety. Only thing negative is I had asked for the dressing to be served on the side which didn't happen. Since it was a very... More

The food here was ok. I went there to get takeout. It took time for the wait staff to acknowledge I was there. Fish tacos would have been better if I had some salt to add to them. Drink selection is nice there.
