Nice restaurant, good wait staff (Nicole our waitress was friendly, knowledgeable). Our reservation was at 5:30pm so it was quiet then. We started with trio of meatball sliders and crab cake (both tasty, filling). My main course was one of the biggest pork chops I've seen topped with sautéed peppers and potatoes, my dinner companion opted for shrimp and pasta.... More

On the Fourth of July, we wanted to do some thing special, so we headed to the Village Belle restaurant that a NYC chef, no, not Louis's brother, told us. Oh, my, what a treat! My scallops were tender, seasoned lightly and served with pencil thin asparagus. Wild mushrooms topped my husband's wonderful pasta dish. Our guests' salmon for one... More

We ate here on Saturday (6/8/2013) with a party of 11. The food is very good. We had the meatball sliders. Very good. As an entre we had their crispy chicken. It was very tender and served with mashed potatoes and spinach. All well done. The calamari was very tender and tasty. They gave you a nice sized dish of... More

I have eaten at Village Belle three times and on each occasion the food has been very good and the service is excellent. However, Village Belle is nearly always empty when we have been there, whether it is a Friday or Saturday night. I believe I have figured out what the problem is with the empty tables. Village Belle is... More

I just attended a wedding here, and loved every moment. The food was phenomenal, and the service was great! Each dish was great - from the calamari, to the meatball sliders, to the salmon! It was a great atmosphere. I can't wait to get back for dinner again soon!

We were visiting our daughter in Queens Village, Philadelphia and I had just read Paltrow's most recent blog entry on Goop recommending the food at Village Belle just down the street from my daughter's home. It was crowded with just the "right" people, the waiters were nice but a bit distant. I got the feeling that they knew we were... More

Just returned home from what we had hoped would be a really nice brunch - since the restaurant is practically in our own backyard. We walked in, the hostess was so busy chatting with a couple of other patrons, that she didn't even acknowledge our arrival. OK , we're finally seated , and asked if tap water is ok. Why... More

Visited with a group of 7 friends to celebrate a birthday. The food, service and ambience were great. Since we were a group of girls, we were not rushed during our service, we were able to sit and talk and have a good time. Our wait staff was attentive, and the food was very good. Would recommend to try it

We had Sunday brunch today, and it was terrific in every way. The service was very friendly and helpful, and not at all pretentious. We ate outside because it was a beautiful day, but the inside of the restaurant and the bar were impressive looking. The atmosphere was comfortable and laid back. The table next to us had 2 small... My future daughter-in-law and I frequented the Village Belle for Brunch. The menu was unique and the food good. The service was slow. It apeared that the wait staff was busy setting up the restaurant for dinner. I was eating with my future daughter-in-law from out-of-state for the first time without my son. We were seated next to a loud... More
