I have been there for lunch and dinner. Both were very good. Stopped in for lunch at the bar. Kobe burger was terrific as were the fries. Dinner was also good although the bar was not stocked with my Bushmills the replacement cocktail was fine. Dinner was paid for by someone else's expense account so I didn't pay much attention... Nice and fancy place, very well located, but the food is clearly below expectations. Meat is ok, but that's it. Worst tempura I have tried ever. The price would be balanced with the place but too expensive for the food.

I was there with my friends for lunch. We tried several dishes, but have to complain about meat which was definitely oversalted. The dish was replaced immediately.Kobe burgers were very delicious also pasta with creamy sauce. A chopped salad was disappointing, I didn't expect pickles inside and it was not the best combination. Service was quick , but the waiter... More

We arrived with another couple for dinner 1 and 1/2 hours prior to the 8:00PM show at the nearby Walnut Street Theatre. Food was good, but service was not. Drinks and food took too long to arrive and the restaurant was not even busy. After much encouragement to finalize the dining experience and obtain separate bills for each couple, we... More

we went to dinner at this restaurant hoping to enjoy the evening after a very tiring day. This was our third visit to this location and the reason we returned was because of the excellent service we had received in the past. However, we must say in all fairness, the service again was great...the food was not as good. My... More

I read trip advisor reviews before dining at Chops. The reviews were a mixed bag but I was looking for a steak for my guests near our office so we went. We had a good experience, not the best steak in town, but average for high end steak. The food and service were good and my foreign guest enjoyed his... More

I don't know if they didn't give it their best because it was restaurant week or what. But we were really disappointed. The filet mignon was dry. My chicken was dry and the mash potatoes tasted like they were out of a box. Let's not mention the caramelized broccoli that was steamed! To top it all off their chocolate cake... More

This is such a lovely spacious place, but very few people there on a Saturday evening at 7. The waiter tried hard, but was not trained well. The steak filet I had was very small and over done.

We had dinner here before going to the Walnut street theatre. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I had a NY strip and my wife had sushi. The strip was cooked perfectly and the sushi was large. I also had some creamed spinach which reminded me of the Palm. We did not have time for dessert but will make... More

You know, I read a lot of reviews before I set foot in any restaurant these days. It might be to my detriment, but I'm just over random, sub-par restaurants. My husband and I decided on this restaurant spur of the moment because Fat Salmon was booked up. When I walked in to find the restaurant quite empty but for... More
