Went for my birthday dinner. The food was excellent, on par with the fancy and more expensive center city places. The mussels in white sauce were superb and the veal piccata was fork tender with the best sauce ever! The $22 & $27 were excellent values for the quality and quantity of food. Definitely returning !!

What a gem we've found in the Mayfair section of Philadelphia. Emma's Cafe, a BYOB, is a restaurant that serves wonderful italian meals. The price for a pre fixe meal was $27. That includes any appetizer on the menu, any entree including specials on the menu and a desert. Total cost for my wife and I for an absolutely delicious... More

First visit to Emma's. Food was delicious HOWEVER the service was less than average. We were a party of nine with reservations. It took slightly less than three hours for a three course meal. Appetizers took over an hour - salads, shrimp cocktail, mussels, calamari. Two hours til we received dinner. No one came over to apologize for the delay... More

Emma's has been our anniversary spot for 3 years now. We love the food and the service is unbeatable! We always feel like family when we have dinner here. It's even my entire family's go to spot for our Christmas Eve parties, birthdays, or just when you crave that perfect steak. Highly recommended place to eat!

We live less than a mile from Emma's and didn't even know it existed. Our neighbors dined one night and told us to give it a try and we are glad we did. It's a BYOB - service was attentive and dinner was good - if you plan to dine on Fri or Sat make reservations - it gets crowded... More

From the minute we walked in the door to the minute we left, our service and experience was really, really good. The food was wonderful and the suggestions made by the staff were on point. This is a hidden gem, and would certainly recommend to anyone.

Tried the place because of the good reviews. I ordered branzino...never had it before so nothing to compare it to. It was one of the specials but that could mean a number of things other than it was a customer favorite. I didn't care for it, soggy skin, some bones...I've had better seafood. My dining partner had the lobster ravioli.... More
