We've been here before, but this visit topped the others. Best pork chop ever. Amazing pasta with mushrooms, great shisito pepper dish, great snow pea salad. Both carnivores and veggies can find plenty to love on the menu. Service was perfect. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because seating is very close and it's a bit noisy.

Very lively place - 9:15 on a Wednesday it was still quite loud. Food served for sharing, lots of small plates. Our group had 4 starters and 4 mains. All the pasta dishes were excellent as were the meatballs, risotto balls and the ricotta. With drinks the bill was very reasonable for dining in a big city. Will return. Highly... More

Very tasty cheese plate enjoyed with a glass of sparkling wine... Grilled asparagus with ricotta cheese, cilantro, and peas... Followed by a luscious pork chop? With a Pinot from Burgundy.

Made a res through open table with no problem. Great small plates! Only drawback was the wine list could have been better. Little loud and cozy neighbors to be intimate.

Based on some on-line reviews we decided to give Barbuzzo a try. Reservations even on a Sunday night pay off. At 8pm there was a 45 minute wait with no reservation. The small plates menu has a wide variety of tasty opitons and the wine list has something for every palate. We started with beet salad, the ordered the shrimp,... More

My husband and I recently celebrated our anniversary in Philly and had reservations for Barbuzzo for dinner. I'm glad we did or we would have had to wait forever- it was packed! I heard someone come inquire about seating for 4 while we were waiting to be seated, and the wait at 6:30 for 4 was 90 minutes. The service... More

Not amazing. Very busy and hyped up. Food was ok but pretty average -we had much better food and experience at The Corner a few doors down (and wished we'd gone back there rather than here, but we are tourists and felt we ought to seek variety doh!). It's not worth the effort and i really wish other reviewers could... More

Barbuzzo's is located on South 13th Street along with other fine restaurants in Philly. We were walking along on a lovely evening and tried walking in without a reservation. The place was packed but the gentleman at the door found us a small table at the back of the restaurant near the open kitchen. It was actually a fun location.... More
