Over rated a real disappointment.

Since I was in Philly to attend the Flower Show, a long time friend, made a dinner reservation at Amuse as she wanted to try their steak frites. I was put off my the very limited menu, but decided on the lobster bouillabaisse. Food was good, not anything special. Frankly, this a big... read more

We dined at this restaurant celebrating our anniversary the other night with friends. The food was excellent. I had the lamb shanks, and although I am an excellent cook, these were far better than what I prepare at home. Other than the fact that the restaurant itself is located off the lobby of the hotel and the ambiance in my... More

The title says it all. The "free" amuse-bouche offered at the beginning of the meal was delicious, as was my main meal. But there weren't many inspired choices on the menu to choose from. Ambiance was lovely with a gorgeous view of Philadelphia from the window and a cozy gas fire.

Went to the Philly Flower show and decided to give this newly renovated establishment a try. Extremely disappointed in dinner. My husband and I both had the Onion Soup. It was just ok. Alot and I mean alot of onions with very little broth for a soup. We both pushed this aside half eaten. They should have called it onion... More

Four of us stopped here for drinks, before moving on to another location for dinner. Our bar waitress was prompt and friendly. Specialty drinks were delicious and priced as you would expect in a large city. A little appetizer of mixed nuts was just right to hold us over until dinner. I, personally, did not care for the modern decor... More

We were staying at The hotel and decided after venturing out and being met with large crowds we would just go back to the hotel to grab a bite to eat here and I'm glad we did! I ordered the lobster burger not really sure what to expect and the flavors were great! My husband ordered the Steak and Fritas... More

We went on a groupon and had a good meal. The waiter was slow and overworked, which was amazing since there were only four tables occupied the whole night. The atmosphere is hard and I would imagine it to be quite noisy if fully occupied.

We used a Groupon to check out this restaurant and enjoyed every part of the meal. We had lobster salad and spinach salad to start, scallops and steak frites entrees and mixed berry Napoleon and vanilla ice cream for dessert. All the ingredients were fresh and everything was delicious and prepared well. Although our waiter rushed as he went from... More

I was torn how to rate this restaurant. The décor is very chic and contemporary. The servers are very nice if overworked. The food is good but not great. All in all, this was a pleasant experience. But somehow not special. If you have time, because the service is slow, it could be enjoyable. The problem is that the level... More

We had heard good things about this French Bistro and we were not disappointed. It is located in a nice area in Downtown Philadelphia inside the hotel Le Meridien, It seats about 40 people. The decor is simple and elegant: white square tables with simple chairs. The chandeliers are very contemporary and I loved looking at them. We had a... More
