Spendy Breakfast Dining but good portions, tasty

I ate here for breakfast twice, and both times I had really good food. It was pricey, no question. However you got large portion sizes, everything seemed fresh, and the service was attentive.

I first went there with family because we had a coupon, a great deal that got us 4 drinks, 2 apps and 4 entrees. The drinks were amazing and so were the apps. For dinner the lobster bouillabaisse was extremely tasty so much that we were drinking the broth. I unfortunately got the ribeye, which was pretty much inedible. I... More

Walked in and out of the "restaurant" without realizing that I was in one. Amuse has an awesome hotel-lobby bar, but the restaurant space is so insignificant that I thought it was just a few extra seats for the bar.

We were comped by the hotel.. Issac, the waiter was very attentive. Coffee was fresh. Omelets were very good on Sat. Sunday buffet was more than ample.

While staying at the Le Meridien I decided to have a drink at the Amuse Bar. The bar tender, Ashley, was quick to service and very knowledgeable on the drinks and snacks offered at the bar. She really made my stay a pleasure. The only downside to this bar is the location. It is located directly inside the hotel. During... More

Since I was in Philly to attend the Flower Show, a long time friend, made a dinner reservation at Amuse as she wanted to try their steak frites. I was put off my the very limited menu, but decided on the lobster bouillabaisse. Food was good, not anything special. Frankly, this a big disappointment. Knowing the prices, I would have... More

We dined at this restaurant celebrating our anniversary the other night with friends. The food was excellent. I had the lamb shanks, and although I am an excellent cook, these were far better than what I prepare at home. Other than the fact that the restaurant itself is located off the lobby of the hotel and the ambiance in my... More

The title says it all. The "free" amuse-bouche offered at the beginning of the meal was delicious, as was my main meal. But there weren't many inspired choices on the menu to choose from. Ambiance was lovely with a gorgeous view of Philadelphia from the window and a cozy gas fire.

Went to the Philly Flower show and decided to give this newly renovated establishment a try. Extremely disappointed in dinner. My husband and I both had the Onion Soup. It was just ok. Alot and I mean alot of onions with very little broth for a soup. We both pushed this aside half eaten. They should have called it onion... More

Four of us stopped here for drinks, before moving on to another location for dinner. Our bar waitress was prompt and friendly. Specialty drinks were delicious and priced as you would expect in a large city. A little appetizer of mixed nuts was just right to hold us over until dinner. I, personally, did not care for the modern decor... More
