I really liked the menu and style of food. Very nice quality and service. Try the chefs menu-- great price and quality. Only problem stay away from back bar where food is produced the smell from woks and food being prepared will linger in your clothes for some time after.

I think everybody knows that Philadelphia has more steakhouse is per capita than any other city in United States. The same goes for attorneys :) This restaurant is completely different. It works only on small plates that are meant to be shared and cause interaction between the parties involved. It is fun the servers are engaging in the food is... More

Your read that right... they have happy hour on a Saturday! Drink specials at $4, and food around that range too until 7pm. It's a total deal to check out this Asian fusion restaurant and experience a little bit of everything. Cantonese spring rolls were good, dumplings were excellent- especially the edamame ones. The pork bahn mi was huge, so... More

One of the best happy hours in the city. Food is unique (Asian fusion) and delicious (everything is amazing), excellent service, and really affordable prices, especially for the quality. Ambiance is funky, but classy, and is a great place to meet with friends, coworkers, or family. If it's nice out, def check out the graffiti bar in the back. Word... More

This place gets fairly high marks from TA travelers. I came away fairly unimpressed. First, I have to say that I'm gluten free and happily, they have a gluten freemen menu. Unhappily, the things I ate off that menu were either tasteless (Peking duck), too oily (calamari and kale salad or too salty (brussel sprouts). My dining companions were not... More

If your a big Asian fusion fan then you won't find a better place then this. The prices are set just right, and to be honest you could get away with just a bunch of small plates as well. The best dish (and one of the best I've ever had) are there edamame dumplings. The decor is also pretty cool.... More

My mom and I were craving Asian food and randomly found Sampan on OpenTable. We were seated immediately even if we arrived a bit earlier than our reservation time. We were initially seated beside a family that was having an intense fight (talk about awkward) but the server immediately noticed that we were uncomfortable and transferred us to another table.... Went here for our anniversary based on great reviews and availability. Service was excellent, food very good, but this is another restaurant that equates noise with energy, a mistake. We had three chef's sampler menu: 7 dishes sized for the number of patrons. Choose 2 small dishes, then one each from the remaining 5 categories. Small dishes we choose were... More
