sad news

Panini's at present is closed. Another resturant is supposed to open there. No date given. I will miss the good food and friendly staff. A neighborhood favorite.

Every time I go to Panini's I am so impressed by the service, the owner and his congeniality, how accommodating everyone is, the prices and the delicious food. If you don't see what you want on the menu, they will probably be happy to make it for you anyway. Save room for their yummy Ricotta Cheesecake.

If you're looking for wonderful Italian food, great atmosphere and great service, go to Panini's! We had the most wonderful time and the food was absolutely delicious. You truly feel like you are in an Italian trattoria when visiting Panini's. What an authentic, fantastic experience. A must go in Philadelphia!

We enjoyed our meal in this Italian restaurant. The staff were very welcoming and friendly throughout the meal - nothing was too much trouble. The food was nice and tasty and included a complimentary glass of wine. There was a nice atmosphere in the restaurant and we thought the price of the meal was very reasonable.

First, I want to say that the host Brian is one of the nicest people I have ever met. Thanks for the chocolate bar on my birthday. Secondly, the food is excellent, typical Italian dishes that taste fantastic. This is my second visit to Philly and my second visit to Panini's and if I ever return to Philly, I will... More

Found by accident rite next to 4 fathers restaurant. Look hard definitely worth it. Bring your own bottle of wine or get a complementary glass with your meal. Friendliest place we ate in philly. Food was fantastic.

We were looking for somewhere to eat near the Constitution center when Brian greeted us in front of the restaurant. Our group included a vegetarian. Brian was very helpful in highlighting several vegetarian options. He told us that the food is always homemade. The waitresses greeted us warmly as we entered for dinner. We enjoyed appetizers of eggplant rollatini and... More

We chanced by this restaurant tonight & wow were we in for a surprise. We had an excellent lasagna which luckily we shared as it was such a huge portion. The staff were better than excellent they really did go the extra mile. This is without doubt the best value for money meal we have ever had. If in Philidelphia... More

We had lunch here. It was very good and the service was excellent! The Philly subs, BLT and Eggplant & Portabella mushroom wrap were delicious! Recommended!

Perfect location across from the Market Street entrance to the Ben Franklin Museum. Loved everything about the visit. Friendly wait staff. Good food. Even complimentary house wine.
