A previous reviewer wrote that GTC was good "even though it's not in the normal neighborhood you'd be going out in." I have no idea what that means. Locust Street has several good eating venues, is safe, and although not Rittenhouse Square, is a great neighborhood. We eat here all the time. We stopped at GTC spontaneously because we'd been... Relaxing and casual atmosphere, even though it's not in the normal neighborhood you'd be going out in. Pasta fagiole excellent, nutty cheese, firm veggies, only complaint is the portion was a little too small. Cubano has a mellow flavor Vichhysoise is creamy yet not too rich. Beware the truffle infused oil, very potent! Buy their honey & oils on your... More

Everything was great. Service couldn't be better which helped make the dinner enjoyable. The food came out in a timely manner. The taste of each course imploded in our mouths. The mozzarella was warm n sitting in a small amount of olive oil. The sausage pizza had a wonderful tasting cheese with thin slices of sausage The saffron seafood dish... More

We visited the restaurant on Sunday during restaurant week. The menu was limited but the choices were very good. We enjoyed all the courses however the baked eggs were my absolute favorite :) Delicious bloody marys too!

Slow and poor service. Our cocktails, Mimosa's and Bloody Mary's, didn't come out until our entree's were delivered. The Pumpkin Granola was tremendous then the sauce on the Buttermilk Pancakes was burnt. Very disappointing.

Great food, drinks and service. We enjoyed it all. My wife and I enjoyed dinner before a show and found this restaurant to deliver what we expected from an iron chef!

A friend and I had lunch at Garces Trading Company in their outdoor seating area. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our meals down to the bread that came with them! The service was fantastic, and I cannot wait to go again.

The umbrella tables outside are a welcomed reprieve from walking around Center City. My croque madame was one of the best I have ever had, along side a small deep green, leafy salad and some duck fat fries. The have a small market inside offering among other things, delicious oils and salts, as well as a very approachable wine selection.

A nice restaurant right in the heart of Philly. Try the house specialty, Steak Frites, it's very good. Get a table outside if possible.

This is a sister restaurant to Amada, one of my favorite restaurants in Philadelphia. This was our visit to The Trading Company which the waiter described a more of a bistro style compared to Amada which is tapas. You can buy alcohol here or buy a bottle at the adjoining (small) state store...but pay a $15 corkage fee. Food was... More
