Eclectic Menu

My wife and I were very impressed with the menu as it was quite eclectic. I will not be so inclined to bring my kids there again as it was a bit sophisticated, menu-wise. We had an enjoyable meal but would have preferred a bit more to give the kids. That being said, it is a great date spot for... read more

Attractive former diner tricked out for the trendy cocktail crowd. We were there for lunch and had excellent menu choices of burgers, salads and Asian fusion sorts of selections. Lunch entrees ranged from $9-14 which is affordable for this part of town. Easy parking in the immediate area (try across the street under the bridge). Loads of galleries and shops... More

H and I walked in and asked for a table and the Hostess asked if we had Reservations. I was surprised we needed Reservations for a Diner. I was told it was a "Martini Bar". We sat in a booth by the window, nice street view. They have two larger rooms in back they open on weekends. H had a... More

We stopped around 12:00 upon arriving to the city. The atmosphere was great for conversation and not a club like other neighboring spots. Awesome staff, great drinks. The food was delicious, although menu may not suit everyone.

As a New Yorker, I love diners, but the Continental Diner is not your typical diner Don't expect to find tuna salad on the menu! The menu is definitely inventive (but rather limited) and I appreciated their version of the veggie Philly cheese "steak" sandwich. I loved the retro decor, especially the martini olive light fixtures. Funky vibe, good service.... More

Food and atmosphere are awesome. But really disappointed that they took the lobster mashed potatoes off the menu

Stopped in here for an early dinner on a Thursday night on the recommendation of our hotel desk clerk. It has a nice atmosphere, classier than your average diner. Delicious calamari to start and a wonderful hamburger. Efficient and attentive service.

We stopped here for desserts. They were higher-end and therefore excellent, which I think was reflected in the price we paid. No complaint--we definitely got what we paid for. The menu also looked higher-end. The restaurant was pretty full at around 5 p.m., and the other patrons seemed to be enjoying their food. So although this place calls itself the... More

Started with the French Onion dumplings and hummus. The dumplings were really different and delicious. The hummus was good too, not quite as memorable. The sea bass was phenomenal, including the sweet potato mash, which is the best mashed anything, ever. We didn't need it but also had an awesome side of wasabi mashed potatos (I do like my mash)....
