Family members and a friend wanted a god place to celebrate a college graduation. We arrived on time at 5:30 (yes, early, but this was necessary due to the busy night and the relatively late date on which the reservation was made), and were promptly seated. The server was friendly, understood the menu and was efficient. I started with fresh... More

Fun ambiance, interesting menu, decent service. We enjoyed the food and the dining experience. The eggplant bruschetta is not to be missed.....

There are so many good restaurants in Philadelphia, it's a stretch to pick one that you should definitely go to. This is one of those. There are only three things that really count: the food, the service, and the atmosphere. The food is wonderfully prepared and is more unusual dishes than you generally get. The service is crisp, clean, and... More

We went to Amis for my 30th birthday and had a great experience. We chose to do 4 small plates and 1 pasta special. The small plates were so delicious. The meatball small plate was the most delicious meatball I have ever eaten. Besides the food, our waitress, Lindsay, was phenomenal, gave us great recommendations and made sure our wine... More

A great neighborhood location walking distance from the Theatre district. Walked their after a show and it was the perfect place to unwind and talk about the performance. Great setting, open kitchen, but not loud. Anything with pork in it was perfectly prepared. Salalds and veggies also done well. Try the pineapple Italian soda for a treat. Will definitely return... We arrived early and the hostess was very gracious and welcomed us. We sampled the house red and white wines and then ordered carafes. Our waitress did a wonderful job of guiding us through the menu. Entrees were great. Dessert was home made. Place gets a little noisy but not deafening. You'll need a reservation.

You can not go wrong with Amis. If you are out to dinner with friends or on a date, the food and service wrestle for excellency. Make sure to leave room for one of the delicious desserts; the rice pudding is too unbelievably good to pass up. Pay attention to the specials because whatever this group of talented chefs whip... I had high hopes for this place just from looking over the menu. It did not disappoint. Just about everything we had was pretty darn good. We ordered a few appetizers to share and then we each got a few more things to share at our table of 4. The only exception being my wife's lamb was a tad crispy... More

The food was a 6 on a scale of 1 to 10. Some of it was cold in the middle. There was a lot of dust on everything from the lights to the fans. That's not what I want to see when eating. Staff was very friendly.

I had a lovely 6 oz salmon on cucumber salad, with a glass of white wine, and a fancy dessert with coffee. The valets, hostess, and waiter were extremely gracious to me. The restaurant is located in an LGBT-friendly community in Philly, and it was evident that every person was treated as a valued patron. I also loved the vibrant... More
