We were happily greeted by the owner of Leziz Turkish Restaurant. He took the time to show us his restaurant which recently had moved to the South Street location. It was like entering a relative's new home and then "given a tour"...The service was excellent although I think the waitress misunderstood some of the things we ordered and were brought... More

I visited this place with a friend and he made 2-3 rounds around the street to find parking but did not give up and that set the expectations about Leziz. The place is just owesome with good food, decent portions, very nice staff, service is very prompt and we were fortunate to be entertained by belly dancer and her sword... More

We arrived to Sal's new place and it was light and airy and very modern design. Ordered appetizers, taking into consideration gluten issues with one of our 3. The wait was minimal, food delicious, and then our main course came. Waitress friendly and efficient. Dinner was tasty and well presented. Would go back anytime I am in Philly!

The owner of Leziz always greets us warmly and makes sure that the meal is just right. Chuck, our server, was likewise friendly and attentive, and our selections were predictably delicious. The lamb kebabs were superb.

Four couples shared the combination appetizer plate and a large Greek salad to start. Each had a main course and we brought our own wine. Food was tasty, service was appropriate and pleasant. Wide variety of choices, representative of the Mediterranean and Turkey. Having taken many visits to Turkey and the Med countries, it was a decent representation, reasonably priced,... More

I am from Turkey and was looking for good Turkish food in Philly. This place is one of the worst Turkish restaurants I have ever been in U.S. We ordered eggplant appetizer, iskender gyro and pide with ground beef. Eggplant appetizer had too much tomato sauce in it and very little amount of eggplant. The taste was very sour. That... More

Leziz stood up to its reputation as "The" place to have a great Turkish Meal in the heart of South Philadelphia. I arrived as they just opened up for lunch on a Monday, and we were the only ones there (for now). No worries, because I wanted to have the full experience of tasting Turkish delicacies without the disturbance of... More

We enjoyed a wonderful meal at Leziz on Saturday night. Sal, the owner, has created a homey and service oriented restaurant experience. The dips were flavorful and well prepared, and, unlike many restaurants, they were specially prepared to accommodate my sulfite allergy. The Moussaka was very unusual, and very good, with more heat than I am used to seeing in... More

We had a wonderful meal here. The calamari are fresh and really tasty. The lamb shank was huge, tender and served wrapped in eggplant. I'd highly recommend it as well as the restaurant generally. The servers are very friendly and really attentive. If you like turkish food, this is a great restaurant to go to.

First off, the food is the star of the show, that is why I keep going back there, if it wasn't good there would be no review from me. Service is friendly, with a heavy accent and overall between good and great but there can be moments of ... distraction from the wait-staff (this IS a Turkish restaurant). The atmosphere... More
