NBA Playoff Game and a bite

We were in town for the weekend and needed to grab a quick bite while our NBA team was playing an important playoff game. Randomly stopped in Field House because we had seen the sign on the way to Reading Market. The food was not gourmet but it was OK. The Beer was cold, the server showed up... read more

With over 30 TV this is a sports bar with a view at any seat. Lots of different draft beers as well. I stopped in for dinner and to watch the hockey playoffs. I ordered the N Y Strip cooked medium, and substituted the roasted potatoes for the spinach. I received my NY Strip medium in the middle, well on one... More

It's an ok place, nothing that stands out or anything. It could be any sports bar. Beer selection looks like a lot, but it's not. I think I was over charged as well.

I went here during a large conference at the convention center. I choose the place because it wasn't too crowded like most other places, while this is often a bad idea I was very tired. There were plenty of empty tables, but I still had to wait 5 minutes or so to get seated. It took quite a while to... More

We stopped in after a somewhat disappointing lunch at the Terminal and wiled away two hours drinking, watching Mets preseason games and playing bar games. The beer selection was solid if unspectacular, but I think that was more of a product of what they had on tap at that moment. Service was friendly and quick, though the prices were a... More

We went here with family due to the location and the atmosphere. We went in from the Reading Terminal Market side and stood for 5 minutes before we realized that we needed to go to the opposite side to be seated. Once seated, the waitress seemed a bit annoyed that we had some questions. I decided on a sausage pizza,... More

We went for lunch after attending the Flower Show. After waiting half and hour for a table, we waited even longer for our incredibly mediocre food to arrive. Table was sticky, waitress was rarely around, our iced tea refills were filled with coke. After placing our order, we waited an HOUR for a salad, spring rolls and cuban sandwiches which... More

Beer was good, lots of TVs, food was fair. Got stuck there due to poor planning on my part. People were friendly enough. Really disappointed in the food though. Had the house burger which were two cheap patties put together. Server was a young untrained server. So, don't expect much.

So the idea of giving your name to the hostess seems pretty clear. You give her your name, they tell you 'about' how long it will be until a table is ready, and then you wait patiently. So after being told "20 minutes" we waited at the bar. Fair enough, the bartender was friendly and the beer selection was very... More

The staff here is really friendly- even overly so when their friends show up and they're yelling overtop of you to talk to one another about their weekend plans. Whatever, it IS a bar. The smell of old beer and sweat (think old frat house) is overpowering. The cocktails are ok, but not enough to get past the other stuff.
