Busy on Fridays, Empty on Mondays

Went there twice after work with my coworkers. First time we went it was Friday. Oh men, it was packed. Very crowded and loud. You could not even hear the person sitting next to you. Second time we went it was Monday. What a difference. We set at the bar first and then grabbed a table. Drinks were... read more

After reading the reviews, my 20-year old daughters and I were very much looking forward to enjoying a nice lunch at this restaurant. We entered to a lively pub atmosphere and wonderful looking plates. Unfortunately, the hostess led us to a table in a room where no one was seated but us and where we were intentionally removed from the... More

i went here based on a suggestion from a real foodie who lives nearby. We stepped inside from a busy downtown street to find a cozy pub. Lots of floor to ceiling wood paneling. large wood bar. Big screen TVs around - but not too many to take away from the pub atmosphere. We were there for an early dinner... More

I had a chance to visit Tir Na Nog with colleagues while in Philly and we really enjoyed our time; the food was great, including their own version of a cheesesteak and the chocolate peanut butter dessert (really good!). I'd definitely recommend if you're looking for a nice pub in the center of downtown.

Went here to watch the rugby with the obligatory guineas. Ordered the buffalo wings which were awesome - there must be enormous chickens over there.

The place was crowded, which's a good sign. Offers a wide range of drinks. Ordered my food for take away and was served quickly and friendly. The food's very good. Burger sliders are cute mini burgers.

I was covering an event in town and stumbled in. Good décor, great staff and better menu. A touch of Ireland in center city. With a great location next to city hall and Love Park. Menu prices were reasonable for center city.

While over for a wedding I was staying in the Sheraton Hotel across the road. This is one of the best pubs in have been in. Which is something as I'm from Ireland. The staff are amazing. The music was awesome and food delicious. Also they showed the football and rugby. I will always have fond memories of Manchester United... More

We dropped in on our first night in Philie and enjoyed draft Guinness and shepherd's pie which was a substantial serving of nicely seasoned ground lamb and mashed potato topping.
