Our group of 6 had a terrific dining experience with a 40's vibe on a recent Saturday night. The setting is spectacular, soaring ceiling height, cozy banquets and decor straight out of a Hollywood movie set. Think Sunset Boulevard. Our server, Brenda, guided us expertly through the menu and wine list. She was fantastic. The cocktails were perfect. But the... More

All I can say is the steak cut like butter. One of the better steaks I've had in a while! The staff was also wonderful, there when you need them but let you eat in peace.

We celebrated our 30th Anniversary with dinner on Oct 6, 2014, a Monday night. Luckily they have Valet Parking, but only 1 service person, so he really works hard! Our table was ready when we arrived, and it was very nicely situated. Our "primary" server was Edward (Eddy) who also had a partner, she was introduced and I am ashamed... More

Anniversary dinner with my wife 8pm - 10/04/14. Beautiful restaurant. We were seated right on time (reservations strongly recommended). Service was very attentive and quick. Our server made recommendations that were much appreciated. Do not miss the Baked Alaska for dessert. A bit pricey for the portions, but not unexpected. Only complaints really would be that the tables are a... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by a waiter at the Parc Bistro. Had a great meal of mutton chop (chosen over other enviable cuts of beef). Very professional waiter and learned alot about classic cocktails. Very friendly, old classic environment-very clean and nice. Would go again.

I am very disappointed. The porterhouse was average at best and overlooked. In fact, when my daughter was told by the waiter that their steaks were on the red side I still ordered my porterhouse medium-rare. Unfortunately both my steak and my daughters steak were overdone. It also tasted like they put a spice or flavoring on the steak when... More

Truly lovely room and great waitress. Steak (delmonico) perfectly cooked and tasty creamed spinach. Steak definitely takes center stage. What I am upset by is that my escargot came out with the oil bubbling and, despite waiting ~5 minutes and blowing on the snail, I completely burned my hard palate with the skin sloughing off immediately, which was gross, painful... I decided to take my chances and head to Butcher & Singer during restaurant week. Some times you end up with a bad experience only due to the volume of people and poor service. BUT I was extremely surprised. The menu was decent and $35 dollars for appetizer, entree, side, AND dessert, I couldn't ask for more. I got the... More

We visited Butcher & Singer for the first time during Restaurant Week. The building is gorgeous. It was a very impressive room to sit in for dinner. The service was excellent, if a little rushed (but we expected this during Rest. Wk.). Everyone was professional but friendly. The food was high quality and delicious. Oysters Rockafeller briny & cheesy and... More

Great Filet Mignon and green beans almondine!!! The service and the cocktails were exceptional. The facility is second to none. Beautiful surroundings in an old investment company building
