The interior of this steakhouse was really pretty. The steak was pretty good but I've had better. The creamed spinach was awesome and the stuff hash brown was amazing. The baked alaska was really good but I was too full to finish it. Our waiter Andrew was very pleasant and polite. Pricey but very good.

I dined here with my husband for our 10th anniversary. It was a great experience. We arrived early, but despite the restaurant being full, they had a table for us within 5 minutes. The service is fantastic. I love that they take the time to explain the menu and make recommendations. Porterhouse for 2, hash browns, onion soup, were all... More

Ok, if you wish the salads are generous in size & delicious. Fried shrimp delicious. Fries to perfection. Home made ice cream. Great service, staff & atmosphere. No rush. Attentive non- intrusive servers. Kudos on all fronts.

We had a party of 6 for a business dinner. The main waiter and supporting staff did an excellent job taking care of the table. The pace of the evening went well with all dishes. I had the Delmonico rib eye steak which was perfectly cook with excellent seasoning. If your reservations are around 6-7pm during the work week, I... More

I had not been here in years and so I told my husband I wanted to go for my birthday. The restaurant is beautiful and has a really nice ambiance. My biggest disappointment was the poor service, which I think is a basic necessity at a high end restaurant like this. However, our waitress had a party of 12-14 right... More

I would've given this a perfect 5/5 if the service was as good as the steaks and wine list. We came on a Sunday night and, although our server was very nice, she was not very attentive and seemed distracted by other tables. Fortunately, we were not in a rush. I'd eat here again..probably just a bad night for her.

The restaurant is located in a beautiful old bank building converted into 30's style steakhouse. Dark woods, marble, very nice and cosy atmosphere. I had just 2 hours to kill before heading for the airport so this was a great opportunity for an early dinner at this highly recommended restaurant. For starter iIhad crab cake which was very tasty, for... More

The porterhouse for two was absolutely beautifully cooked, with an almost velvety texture and a perfect medium rare. The best steak I've had in a long time. Other highlights: the Baked Alaska (though the banana and apricot combination may not be everyone's favorite), cheesecake, beer-battered onion rings (a special on the menu, and the best onion rings I've ever had)... My wife and I have frequented this building many times in the past when it was The Stripped Bass. We found that restaraunt to be very good, but we found Butcher and Singer to be much better. First, it seemed quieter. Perhaps the new management installed better sound deadening materials in the drapes and wall coverings, but there was a... More

Prepare to be wow'ed from the moment you walk into the dining room. Absolutely breathtaking. The caesar salad, escargot, Porterhouse for two, mashed potatoes, and creamed spinach are all to die for. You wallet will take a hit at this place, but it is 100% worth it.
