The atmosphere is wonderful, however, it can get a bit noisy. The food was very good. The grapefruit cocktail was amazing, I could have ordered several of them all night. The desserts were delicious yet small for the price. There is outside seating available when the weather is good.

I went out to breakfast here with friends and it was so delicious. It was so hard to choose one thing to order. I would love to come here for lunch or dinner. The service was awesome! Our waiter was very friendly and continually checked on us and gave us recommendations on what to order. I cannot wait to come... More

I just got back from enjoying a lovely evening eating a delicious meal at one of the sidewalk tables. I had the gazpacho to start, the lamb shank for my main course, and a flight of 3 cheeses for desert, after a tasty cappuccino. Other then my mistake of ordering too much food (I really didn't need the cheeses), the... More

This is always a reliably good spot for a family brunch or lunch with friends from out of town. The food is classic French bistro and always delicious. It can get very busy so reservations are recommended but we have also eaten there many times just walking in. The location across the street from Rittenhouse Square is ideal.

Very tasty French bistro-style cuisine in an attractive building. The tables facing Rittenhouse Square are in demand but offer a great view of one of Philly's nicest public spaces.

Great place to eat and people watch if you are lucky enough to get one of the sidewalk tables facing Rittenhouse Square. I highly recommend the Warm Shrimp Salad. Very nice blend of large warm shrimp on a bed of greens with shredded cheese, avocado and a light dressing. Their bread basket offers three types of bread which all all... More

During a weekend visit we decided to pop in for lunch. What a great surprise! The place is buzzing and wonderfully busy with folks having good food and enjoying the inside and outside tables. We opted for the zinc bar and had a delightful lunch. Highly recommend Niçoise salad and Paillard of chicken with shaved veggie salad. We shared a... More

We took advantage of the weather and dined at a sidewalk table. The setting and the food quality made this a memorable experience. The watermelon gazpacho was a nice special. The Provencal lamb shank was large, juicy and tender. I wish the chef had included more polenta with the dish. The pan-seared scallops were large and beautiful. Again, we wished... More

We stopped here for mid afternoon break for wine and cheese. We sat outside on a warm sunny day and people watched while drinking and noshing. This place has the best baked bread basket they make themselves. The three cheese selection came with preserves, Marconi nuts, relish all wonderful after a full day of walking and shopping. Located across from... More
