I can't even decide on whether to start my praise by talking about the food, or talking about the quality of the service. Both were equally amazing to levels that I've rarely ever seen anywhere else. defiantly a different kind of restaurant. We all loved the atmosphere the design and the service ! the food was too salty . the food looks amazing nicely presented but not as tasty as it looks . You understand that the chef sometime try new dishes and new flavors not knowing the final result ! desserts - amazing !!! not... More

I was not very familiar with Israeli/Mid.Eastern cuisine and this restaurant, service and food far exceeded my expectations. I'm still thinking about the experience 3 days later. The optional prix fixe is the way to go. Extremely reasonable at $45 each, one gets a selection of salads and hummus, followed by a choice of two starters, one entree and one... More

Though I was dining alone, Yasmin ensured I had the fullest experience possible, even by serving a complimentary small version of haloumi. The food was absolutely wonderful - balancing salty and spice with the appropriate amount of sweetness. I opted for a bottle of Israeli Pinot Noir which stood up to the intense flavors of each dish. If you haven't... More

Think lots of small plates with absolutely delicious Israeli/Middle Eastern food including a number of vegetarian dishes. All the dishes I ordered with perfectly cooked, well seasoned and delicious. The staff were delightful and its no wonder Zahav won a James Beard award. Can't wait to go back!

Zahav does one thing I wish more places in town would achieve. A sophisticated kitchen in decidedly non-sophisticated restaurant. By that I mean that they don't hammer you over the head with their creativity, skill and ambition. The food isn't hard to understand, but that doesn't mean it lacks any forward thinking. One thing though is they keep the middle... More

Me and the wife had a wonderful Saturday night dinner at Zahav in early August 2015. The food is excellent, the turkish hummus was so delicious. Besides the food being excellent the two things that stood out in my mind about the dining experience at Zahav was one, the music playlist which ranged from 90's pop to Ice Cube. The... More

The restaurant is very open and lovely with mural photographs of Israel and the Israeli people. The seating is well spaced and comfortable. We ordered the lamb shoulder/chef's selection for dinner. Everything was fantastic... The hummus, the flatbread, the vegetables...the lamb...all just wonderful! The service was friendly and knowledgeable. Couldn't have asked for a nicer late afternoon meal. Zahav is... More

The food at Zahav was fantastic. It was restaurant week and for $35 the amount of food and the quality was terrific. The restaurant was very noisy and at times it was quite bothersome (we were in the smaller room and not the main hall). We had trouble finding our server on many occasions. I would definitely recommend this place

So delicious. Great authentic food. Great bar list as well. Get the lamb, any of them, it's one of their best dishes. Go there ready to a eat a lot
