I'll be back!

Had a very late reservation for 2, my husband couldn't make it, and I had a very enjoyable experience dining at the bar by myself. Food was amazing!

Go for the Tasting Sampler - reasonable - $45 - lots of food plus dessert. Reservations are tough to come by on an impromptu basis; however, if you go and willing to wait (maybe 45 minutes) you can sit by the bar and have dinner (everyone does this) or get even luckier and sit a a bar like setup facing... My reviews don't usually start with comments on service because honestly the food is the only thing that truly matters at a restaurant to me. That said, the service a Zahav was impeccable! Our waiter was knowledgeable, kind, engaging, friendly, etc. Now on to the food. Not a lot of restaurants serving modern Israeli food out there, that's why I... More

I loved this place. We had a group business dinner. The setting was perfect and private for our group of around 40. Not sure if this is because we had a group dinner, but we had no menu---just a constant flurry of new tasty morsels. From samosas (or something like them) to Dolmas to hummus to the most tasty carrots... More

First off, I'm a huge carnivore. So when my wife told me about this place that we needed to try with great vegetarian options, I rolled my eyes. Secondly, I heard a lot of people say this place was really great, but I've been let down by other people's opinion - so, I was skeptical. Let me tell you how... More

Delicious and adventurous Israeli cuisine. Worth going to every time we go to Philly. Lively atmosphere and bar, everyone is very friendly and make certain to ask those around you what they are eating. Great service.

We were a group of 20 with an addenda and a big part was to break bread together. Zahav has a couple of quiet back rooms that were well appointed. The service was exceptional. A few of us stayed behind and all six servers waited for us to finish, were attentive to my coffee request and truly made the evening... More

We have eaten here three times now. Every single time we have been amazed by both the quality of the food and both the friendliness and expertise of the service. It is truly fine dining at its best. The service is second to none, but super friendly. There is nothing worse then going out to a nice restaurant and then... More

Went solo during a work trip and sat at the bar. Didn't even wait 10minutes and the place was packed. The Turkish hummus was comparable to what I found in Israel which was fresh, flavorful and almost like the consistency of mashed potatoes. The kebab and chicken were amazing and the rice w cashews was perfection. This place is a... More

All I can say is – We need a Zahav in Los Angeles! The food is absolutely delicious. The service is impeccable! And the price is more than reasonable for the quality and the amount of food you get. We went on a Saturday night and there were no table reservations available but we managed to get bar seats after... More
