Some dishes to die for

Turkish hummus, the pita, and cauliflower with mint yoghurt sauce is incredible. Service was attentive and knowledgeable. This place is popular so you need to reserve in advance.

Zahav may have the finest, most interesting menu and cocktails in Philadelphia. Staff knows there stuff and the menu is beyond perfect with an Israeli/Middle Eastern flair that fits for foodies, meat eaters and vegetarians. I think they have perfected Hummus to a level beyond where any chick pea could go on it's own. Pricey but worth it if you... More

Following on recommendations of family members, we decided to have an anniversary dinner at this superb restaurant... What a feast and each course was special. Cuisine is Middle Eastern. The hummus was the best I've had, including that in Israel. The prix fixe dinner included 6 mini-salads that were wonderful followed by a selection of grilled items. Be sure to... More

We had a fabulous meal a Zahav - each course was really wonderful! The hummus was wonderful - especially the butter hummus, warm and delectable! The staff was very knowledgeable, the sommelier gave us such interesting pairing that made the food sing. Look forward to going back!

An extremely well done variety of middle eastern food done at the highest quality. The best restaurant of this cuisine that I've ever had.

Oneof the best restaurants in philly! But really hard to get a reservation. seems the service is getting relaxed with the notoriety! Did not feel the love this past vist but have come here so many times that I hope it was a one off day!

Excellent quality, variety and combinations! Real Food! The full menu is finally a lot of food even if the plates look small in the beginning but definitively worth it!

I had the pleasure of eating at Zahav during Restaurant Week with 4 friends (snagged one of the last reservations open at 9:45pm on a tuesday night); because we were a fairly large group, we really got a taste of everything. I mean, the initial spread of pickled veggies and salad with the hummus and laffa bread took me right... More
