Saw this place on Man Vs. Food as a place he stopped at. Tried their famous pork sandwich with provolone and broccoli rabe. It was excellent. Plus it is in the Reading Terminal Market which is worth the trip by itself.

We came here because it was highly recommended as one of the best pork sandwiches place and it was! We had a pull pork sandwich with hot pepper, cheese and broccoli. The pork was tender. The bread was fresh. It was yum to the last bite.

There may be a long line when you get here. It moves quickly and is worth it. We sampled three sandwiches while in Philadelphia and this meat is by far the best. My husband and I split the pulled pork sandwich with provolone. It was amazing. We got there before the lunch rush and had no wait. On other visits,... More

Went to the Reading Terminal Market and heard about Tommy's. Once there we found a long line for take out. We lucked out in getting a seat at the counter. We decided to share with my wife a sandwich since they looked pretty sizeable. We ordered the Italian pulled roast pork with provolone and sweet/hot peppers. It was delicious. Once... More

This was the best sandwich ever. They are huge - my daughter and I shared an Italian roast pork with provolone. My husband had roast beef with provolone and sweet peppers. We ate every last morsel. The meat was tender and hand carved so no fat or gross mystery pieces. And the rolls - they were the best. Apparently they... More

Definitely not the best sandwich I've ever had! We went and tried one today. The pork with provolone and broccoli.... Gross!!!! Dry pork with no seasoning and the broccoli tasted so gross! I'm not a picky eater at all and I Love Broccoli! Still nauseous thinking about how bad it tasted! I ate half to not waste it and wish... More

Very long queue at lunch but I think they're fine with that as they deal with quickly. Hard to find a seat and hard to eat on the move but it was gorgeous - so try a pulled pork sambo soon !! Great place. Very simple !

The food is great!! I ordered the meatball sandwich but quickly changed my order with the crowd to the roast pork!!! The waitress suggested I get the sharp provolone and broccoli-rabe! Great food, price and service!
