Great pub in Philly

My wife and I were visiting Philly for two days and stayed in a hotel nearby. We happened to pop our heads in Fergie's and could have stayed all night. The barman immediately gave my wife a taste of a wine as she was not sure which to go for. This was much appreciated as it so rarely happens in... read more

A great meeting & eating place right downtown - warm atmosphere, good beers & drinks, and great pub food! Loved it! Also, regular poetry readings upstairs when they aren't having the jumpingest live music!

Everything was conveniently located. The bar tender always remembers my name when I come to town. Some times he gives me a break on my dining which I appreciate. I still tip 20%

I walked down Philadelphia's 13th Street looking for reasonable prices without much luck-turned the corner and found this place.very popular on a Thursday night, and took a seat at the bar. Ordered an IPA draft and a brisket sandwich-a very safe choice in most cities. The first draft came, and was good, but they could not figure out how to tap... More

If you want to really enjoy a beer this is your place. The setting couldn't be better, Old tavern appearance, all in wood, great selection of music and a very nice ambiance. The important thing: They have a great selection of imported beers witch you can enjoy while listening to a live music show.

Unable to get to Ireland for my wife's 60th birthday this year, the staff at Fergie's provided my family with the next best thing. The live Irish music, food and drink made for a great event. A cake with the band playing happy birthday capped the evening. Young and old enjoyed themselves at Fergie's.

My boyfriend lives right down the street from Fergie's so I have been there a handful of times. I have always enjoyed myself and keep wanting to go back. I have never eaten there or looked at the menu, but I can say that the drink prices are fair and surprisingly affordable for being in the city. It's a nice... More

Went for dinner here with family. Basic pub foods, and was enjoyed by all. Went back for drinks at night, that was very enjoyable as well. Parking can be tough near by, but with a little work you can find some place kindof affordable. My beer and burger were good, and service was fine, so color me happy.

Excellent atmosphere. Guinness was excellent, as it should be; no clover though. Live music, not loud, great time all around.

Stopped into Fergie's on a Sunday night during a recent trip to Philly. Wasn't crowded at all which was nice, and there was a musician playing in the corner which provided nice background noise. The service was good and they had a nice variety of draft and bottled beers, also shot and beer specials as well. There was an upstairs... More
