Stopped into Fergie's on a Sunday night during a recent trip to Philly. Wasn't crowded at all which was nice, and there was a musician playing in the corner which provided nice background noise. The service was good and they had a nice variety of draft and bottled beers, also shot and beer specials as well. There was an upstairs... More

Dropped in on a Saturday night for a late dinner around 8:45pm. Small but a nice pub atmosphere. Smaller and darker upstairs but it there were larger tables and it was quiet for a family dinner while the band was setting up for a 10pm start. The fish and chips had 2 small rectangular pieces of thinly and not so... More

We were in from a day of traveling and were just looking for a small dinner and a beer. Fergie's was a walk from the hotel. They were understaffed for our visit with only one bartender and one server. She was obviously stretched. The meal was satisfactory and fit the bill, but nothing above average.

My husband and I stopped in Fergie's Pub after we finished having dinner across the street. We saw a sign for craft beer and figured we'd stop in and see if they had anything interesting to try. We sat down and ordered two local brews and really enjoyed it. The bartender at Fergie's was great! Once we ordered our first... More

This was a nice, local bar close to our hotel. The service was extremely quick. The only drawback was how dark it was for being late afternoon. However, the food was great, the alcohol selection was good, and we were impressed by the service.

We stopped for a pint and something to hold us over for dinner. The French onion soup was hearty and delicious. We thought $8 for a pint was a bit high, however.

Fergie's was recommended by a local who deposited us there on a crowded Saturday afternoon. The place was really buzzing and they had five musicians playing at an adjacent table. It was enjoyable and the vibe was good. We had the pub fries, which were surprisingly good. Service was off a bit due to the size of the crowd, but... More

Stopped by after a show-staff not really helpful about seating us.Ventured upstairs and only 1server for all the tables. We wound up sharing a table with the overflow from a large group of very loud guys. Drinks came fairly quickly, but saw very little food coming out-family next to us stated they had been waiting 45 min. All of a sudden,... More

Fergie's is a Philadelphia institution, for beer-lovers and others who like the ambiance of a classic old pub. A popular lunch spot, Fergie's also features live music in an upstairs room. The downstairs bar room is small and cozy. Long wooden bar leading to an area with table service. On a recent lunch visit, my party of three were greeted... More
