I've had their fish and chips over the years but I was really disappointed in today's offering. The fish was as dry as cardboard and about as flavorful. Even the chips were over cooked. Perhaps there other food items are better but I'm not going to give them another try.

This is a well-worn tavern overlooking Penn Cove. The atmosphere is local and casual. The food and drinks are OK - just right when you are looking for something informal.

Great mussels and beer! The chowders were yummy and the servers were fun! Lots of locals and bikers stopped too.

Toby's is a down to earth, funky eatery in Coupeville. I had the fresh steamed mussels and the red ale. Both made for a yummy dinner.

Nice old pub but needs a little love from the owners. Good food and beer but can be a little slow due to under staffing.

We had lunch at Toby's. The local beer was good and the fried fish was good. The service was a little slow, but we were OK with waiting a little.

this is a real old bar - cheap beer and they bring the jug wine to the table when you want a refill. The menu is not extensive but have the best Penn Cove Mussels in town. We had the thai chili mussels, and ended up drinking the juice out of the bottom of the bowl like soup. A pound... More

If you are en route north or south, this is where you get your FRESH Penn Cove Mussels! 4$ a pound and kick back with a beer while they get them together. This place is so easy to find - turn off of the highway at the pedestrian overpass and travel straight to the water, it's on that block. And... More

This is the local bar, small town casual. The food is decent. The mussels are awesome! Sit down and try to pass for a local with a pint of their local red ale.

The service wasn't the very best, but the place was crowded and we didn't wait too long. The food was fresh and local and very good.
