intimate little restaurant

We stopped for supper after a long day with lots of walking. Even though seafood is the specialty, we were both hungry for a good burger that evening and were not disappointed. We were able to enjoy the sailboats in the cove from our table. There is indoor and outdoor dining. The only downside... read more

Service was excellent, but the sandwiches were overpriced. We found the bread to be very dry and the filling was very disappointing. We ordered the turkey and cranberry sandwich. The cranberry was a cranberry flavored cream cheese and the turkey was simply deli meat - very disappointing and not very tasty.

We headed down, not knowing there was a real restaurant down the stairs, in addition to the upstairs coffee shop. The food was great, and the coffee was excellent and plentiful. The service was friendly, and my husband was very happy with the cinnamon roll we brought him.

The Inn at Penn Cove gave us gift cards for this restaurant and we are really glad we used them. We both enjoyed delicious sandwiches on our ferry ride back to the mainland.

I had a window table with a beautiful view. My service was quick considering I ordered the baked Mac & Cheese which is baked tomorrow order. It was pretty good. You have an option with or without bacon I had with out. Like I said good but could have been more flavorful. The garlic toast that came with it was... More

Just dropped in for a hot chocolate on Wednesday. The hot chocolate was just right for me plus a caramel walnut bun for morning tea. We even bought two chocolate cookies for eating in our bus trip. The café is clean and we got a table which we can see the sea, amazing. We like the food we ordered. The... More

My husband and I went here for Breakfast and it was delicious. I had a spinach & feta cheese omelette plus breakfast potatoes. They make home-made bread and pastries, etc. Their CINNAMON ROLLS are the best I've had. All pricing is moderate/inexpensive. Cinnamon rolls to-go were $2.95, I think. (Don't quote me on that). The building is right on the... More

This restaurant has all the charm and delicious fare you'd want to find on your visit to Coupeville. Located right on the water, the Knead and Feed has amazing soups, salads, and Sandwiches on homemade bread. The Cinnamon rolls are divine; not to mention gigantic! Great lunch spot, prices are reasonable and service is always friendly and fast.

We had lunch there on a Saturday afternoon. They were able to accommodate our party of 10 with only a 20 minute wait. The view was breathtaking and the service good. Everyone ordered sandwiches and soups which were pretty average but the portions were quite large. Most of the menu offerings were deli type food. Tried their mussels but not... More
