Good mussels in white wine and garlic sauce. Kitchen can only prepare two orders at a time so service is slow. Bread needs improvement in light of the name.

What a wonderful treat! One of our favorite restaurants, the Knead and Feed, is now open for dinner on weekends. We hope they continue year round. The food was wholesome, tasty and delicious. The service was excellent. The view was great too as we watch kayaker a paddle in the water below. Get reservations as the the restaurant became crowded.... More

I was in Coupville with a friend and decided to stop in for a late lunch at this restaurant. It was 1:45, so we didn't think we would have any trouble getting a table. However, when we arrived, all the tables were full and they told us it would be a 15-20 min. wait. After looking over the menu, we... More

Great place to eat breakfast in historic Coupeville. Delicious egg dishes and baked goods. Cinnamon rolls as big as your head. Try sharing one. They didn't open until 9am which means they might not meet everyone's schedule. But if you are running on Whidbey Island time, it's worth a visit.

Had dinner on a summer Thursday night. Lovely window seats overlooking water. Food was simple, fresh, well prepared and well priced. Found it wholesome and enjoyable but a tad bland to be truly memorable.

My husband and I entered the upstairs bakery to view the delicious pastries before taking the outside stairs to the downstairs restaurant. We ordered one cinnamon/caramel roll with walnuts and one omelette breakfast to share. We enjoyed every bite. The experience was delightful including the food, the efficient and friendly service and the beautiful view of the water. We ordered... More

Beautiful location, wonderful view, and friendly service at the downstairs restaurant. That may all make up for the wait if you are prepared. I didn't mention the food quality, because I didn't get any. Not that I didn't order any, just that I didn't get any. My experience may have been unusual, but I'll never know for sure as I... More

The 'Inn' we were staying at gave us vouchers to have our breakfast at the Knead and Feed. The bakery (or the "Knead" part of the name) is right on Front Street, but we were directed to go down some external stairs to the restaurant. We had a table right by the window, with a fabulous view across the water.... More

We traveled with a large family group. I have trouble with stairs so called ahead and they graciously set up a large table for our group in their main floor bakery. The food was very fresh and everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed their lunch. The Marion Berry Pie was amazing and I ordered two to take to a Fourth... More

The restaurant and bakery are on different floors in the same building on Front Street. My wife and I stopped in for one of their fabulous cinnamon rolls and coffee. We have done this in past years and everything was as good as we remembered. Highly recommend this spot.
