Perfect lunch after hike at Ebey's Landing

We stopped in at Knead and Feed around 1:30pm after a hike at Ebey's landing nearby. The small cozy restaurant was busy with lunch customers, but service was quick and the food was delicious and fresh. Good soups, salads, quiches and baked goods in a pretty room overlooking the bay.

Excellent waterfront location. The restaurant is downstairs from the bakery. We went here for the Penn Cove mussels which is on their menu. The wait staff indicated that there was a typo and they have not resolved it- the mussels are only available on weekends. You would expect that the menu would be seafod-heavy but no it's meat-heavy. We had... More

This place was probably best known in the past for its baked goods. Now it is a soup, sandwich, pie place with an old fashioned atmosphere. They still bake the wonderful rolls. I have been going to this place for about 30 years and it is still good. Haven't had brunch there lately, but it was great the last time.... More

We stopped at the Knead and Feed based on reviews we had read. We decided to bypass the upstairs bakery, and headed downstairs for lunch. The restaurant is fairly tiny, so it took a few minutes to get a table for 5, but it was well worth the wait. The views from inside the restaurant are wonderful, and the service... More

It was small and cozy which made it unique. We were there in March so it wasn't crazy busy, but it was full. The bread with blackberry jelly was delicious and the omelet was good too.

The bakery is upstairs, but don't miss the restaurant downstairs. The service is not speedy, but you won't care because you can drink your coffee with a great view. The cinnamon French toast is sinful.

We always stop at Knead and Feed whenever we are in Coupeville to pick up cinnamon rolls as they are the best we've ever found. Sadly, this time we were disappointed. Instead of large rolls with many circular thin layers of dough covered with butter, sugar, and lots of cinnamon, we found large rolls with a few fat layers and... More

Knead & Feed overlooks Penn Cove in Coupeville & it is scenery worth lingering over, especially as seen from the Knead & Feed. Upstairs is the bakery & a small cafe & one flight down (outside stairs) will bring you to a small dining room with 5 or 6 tables for 4, along with a couple of 2 seaters. It... More

At our B & B's recommendation, we stopped at the Knead & Feed for lunch. The service was very friendly and timely, and the food was so good! We had the chowder, home made bread and slice of pie. Clam chowder can be the best - or the worst experience. This was one of the best I have had! Instead... More

We went early Thursday morning for the fresh Sticky Pecan Rolls which are awesome. This was in the upstairs bakery. My brother in law knew the system so he taunted us with a Cinnamon Roll while our Pecan Rolls were still baking. Yummy! My sister and I went back for lunch in the downstairs restaurant overlooking the water on a... More
