We arrived shortly after opening and had a table near the fireplace, which felt good. Our muscles were fine as was the oyster po boy my wife ordered and my stuffed squid. I had a Sazerac cocktail that was perfect & a glass of Pinotage. My wife had hard cider. Drinks were served by our smiling waitress and were reasonably... More

My husband & I came here on Thanksgiving weekend. We discovered this place by surprise after we had some not so good lunch by the water front. Because it's a mid-afternoon snack for us, we only tried couple small starter and some kind of warm sweet puff as desert (sorry, forgot what it call). From start to end, the food... More

Without any equivocation, this was by far the very best meal we have had in the 8 years we have lived in Coupeville. Christmas dinner was a fixed menu, with a salmon alternative for non meat eaters. One member of our party was initially upset, as he claimed to dislike both salmon and the fixed menu offering of rack of... More

I spent some time in Coupville during a weekend long art class and had the most amazing dinner here the first night I arrived. The food and service was first class and we also stopped later at night to order dessert to take back to the B&B. Can't wait to come back to this beautiful restaurant and their bread is... More

My server (I wish I could remember her name) was spectacular. She explained how my meal was prepared just beautifully. I had the Penn Cove mussel appetizer & a local IPA. Heavenly. But the server really made the night pure magic. Her smile & joy at her job made me feel so welcome. A flawless experience & great view.

My wife and I ate at Oystercatcher for our anniversary. We scheduled a reservation and showed up in the early evening. The restaurant is small, in a prior home by the boardwalk, but the ambience is nice, good lighting, pleasing middle eastern rugs, and an open kitchen where you can witness some of the technique in process. My wife ordered... More

A really lovely cozy dining room with excellent and personable service by Sara. We ordered the most amazing mussels ever, blue cod fish, beef shoulder. The wine, the bread, dessert - everything was perfect. Can't wait to return next time we are in this quaint little village on the sea.
