Delicious Food, Attentive Service, Wonderful Wonderful All Around!

This is one of my all time favorite restaurants now! We had an amazing meal. I had a delicious fruity cocktail and a sweet amuse bouche before the meal. The halibut was roasted and out of this world. The only problem is that it was over a month ago, and I don't remember the specifics. I just... read more

I had heard so much about this wonderful place - not! Food decent but way way to expensive for the portions size! I will not go back . We went during a holiday last year -for a special dinner. My husband and I both starving when we left. The meal was four courses and tasty - but..... too small.

One of the best meals we've had in a long time! Fresh, local ingredients prepared in very creative ways.

I had heard such great things about this place and the reviews we all good. The good: The location and interior are really good. The staff were nice (except as noted below). 50% of the food we ordered was really great! The amuse bouche items were great, the salmon was great, the tomato soup was delicious, and the oysters were... More

Traveling the Pacific Northwest? Put Oystercatcher on your itinerary. Worth a detour, a ferry crossing, whatever it takes to join these folks for a meal. In a very unassuming setting over an insurance agency (?) or tzchotchke store sits one of the finest meals you'll find on the island and perhaps within 60 miles of the island. The bread is... More

We were very impressed with the service we received at this restaurant. The food was also very good. Overall, we found the Oystercatcher to be our favorite restaurant on the island. Highly recommend this restaurant!

and great, friendly service. Met the chef while entering who actually spoke about the specials that day. He was on his way in with supplies. Thee was a wait of half hour but well worth it. The staff was friendly & smiling all the time. I had the Penn Cove mussels special with there own sour dough wheat bread for... More

It makes a difference. Perfect dishes from the kitchen, helpful waitstaff with personality galore, and an overall caring atmosphere. It's a small place so we weren't able to be seated right away. We left our name, walked the one block to the small town's "Main Drag" for some pleasant shopping, and then returned to be seated with no further delay.... More

We stopped here because we had our dog and thought they might let us bring her on the deck. They did and gave us a nice shady table. But the food! We ordered appetizers to share and were very happy with them. The oysters were crisp and delicious. Who would have thought calamari stuffed with lamb sausage would be good?... More

I enjoyed going to the Oystercatcher, and there were elements that I loved. I loved the adventurous spirit and the way they played with flavor and texture. Some things didn't quite work, but when they did they were fantastic. The scallop appetizer was amazing, and the desserts were great. My entree was good, but my mother had the rabbit and... More
