Ask for a second floor or patio seat

We asked for a seat on the second floor and were seated by the window, where we watched the sunset. The food was fine. The house red wine tasted off and when I sent it back, I wasn't charged.

I stopped here the other day for a late lunch and was pleasantly surprised. I was seated upstairs with a nice view of the bay and enjoyed a cold drink on an unusually warm day. I ordered a small salad and a margherita pizza, both were excellent. I finished my meal with a creamy chocolate gelato. A perfect lunch at... More

We stopped in on the recommendation of a friend. We were seated quickly (with a strange, somewhat demeaning look from the guy), were given water, and then sat there for 15 minutes (at least) and we're not acknowledged by anyone and finally left.

Marc, the owner, will go out of his way, if he has to, to ensure that your meal is delicious to your taste. The food is really good and the fresh bread is terrific. The mushroom lasagna was amazing, we had it on 2 different nights it was so good. Their gelato is also delicious. Enjoy!

Ciao is our top restaurant on Whidbey Island, and is quite frankly one of our favorites in the entire Seattle Metro area. The pizza is delicious, but so are the appetizers and pasta. My daughter loves the lasagna. I love the caprese. The seafood is always fresh. The service is always warm and inviting, and the view is incredible. Worth... More

Wood fired oven, locally sourced ingredients, Neapolitan pizza, and an upstairs bar with a view to die for.

I went here on a date, and it was a really cute place. The ambiance of the restaurant was perfect and it was very romantic. It was too bad the food didn't match. I found the pasta sauce to be pretty lack luster and I've had better in chain Italian restaurants. Both my date and I were overall not impressed... More

It was a wonderful sunny day in Coupeville Washington and we sat on the balcony outside overlooking Penn Cover and Mt. Baker and had a late lunch. Today I tried the spicy shrimp which was spicy. Maybe a three on a scale of five and wonderful. About a pound of shrimp in a spicy sauce with lots of Italian bread... More
