We've eaten at FSG 5 times. The first time we ate there, the food was fantastic but they only had one server on a weekend evening, it was a little slow getting drinks and appetizers. The other 4 times we've eaten at FSG, the whole experience has been superb. They have increased the wait staff. If you go in for... More

This place was recommended by our B&B host. We went there specifically for the mussels. My husband got half a pound of musses with chorizo (and linguine) and I got the one with pesto (and linguine). We thought it would be too much but surprisingly, we finished them. The mussels were the best we have ever had (we live in... More

If you love mussels but are leery of ordering as they may be chewy or large - have no fear at all at this restaurant. Truly the best mussels on the entire west coast - and I have had a LOT.. Penn Cove (and you have a view of it from the restaurant) - has tender, small and flavour ridden... More

We Stopped in Coupeville on our way to catch a ferry. I chose this restaurant because of the ambience. As the name states, it is situated on the water with windows allowing natural light along with a view if Penn Cove across to the Cascade Mts. The menu is varied and is heavy with seafood especially Penn Cove mussels and... More

Right on water location downtown. Window table at 9 on a Sunday in late March. No waiting. Excellent service. San Danielle scramble was on table in 5 minutes and was wonderful. Appreciated they had a whole wheat toasr option. Large portion with 3 eggs (no question about that). Wide choice on menu. A go-back place to put in saves.

Beautiful location but terrible food & unacceptable service. The waitress had dirty clothes & our orders / entrees were far too small & expensive., plus food was terrible.

Stopped, shopped and had lunch with friends. Their Penn Cove mussel menu is great. You can pick from several delicious recipes! Fish & chips, salmon burger and clam chowder...all was excellent. They have a small compact bar with a good selection for its size. We will all be back.

The food here is consistently good with always available local shellfish from Penn Cove which is right outside the picture window. Mt Baker adds to the stunning view. The service is always good and friendly. Locals and visitors are treated equally well and all are treated like friends visiting. Breakfast is a new addition this year and it's very popular.
