A nice little café on the main street in Coupeville with a view is something to be enjoyed and the location does that. The food is solidly average and with the prepared in advance flavor. Since it is the height of a wonderful oyster season here I ordered the pan fried oysters. They arrived lukewarm so I asked the server... More

Nice atmosphere, restaurant overlooks waterfront. Upscale dining. Breakfast on weekends, but pricey at $12. Quiet though and food is good.

My wife and I have eaten here several times over the last couple of years and it is consistently very good. Last night we ate here with another couple so there was a good selection of menu items. For starters I had the Caprese salad which was good except for the tomatoes, which are the main part of the dish.... More

Granted it was a super busy day but the layout of the restaurant is not conducive for that many people. I was constantly being banged by wait staff and our table was close to the lady's bathroom where a line formed, all through the luncheon. My food was ok I had the fish tacos, but the coleslaw overpowered the fish... More

Service and atmosphere were above average, but the quality of the menu items we ordered were below average. I think it might be a fine place if all you were looking for were some tasty Penn Cove mussels, but we didn't order mussels. My wife had a spinach salad which to put it simply lacked pzazz, and even more to... More

We enjoyed the view and happy hour here. The Crab Cakes with a light salad was very good. My hamburger was OK, nothing special. Her mussel dinner was very good. We had to eat in bar area to get the happy hour prices. However, there are three tables which a view of water, so we were happy. The wine was... More

My husband and I had dinner there on August 9. We were staying at a B & B outside of town. The owner recommend Christopher's but we couldn't get in. She said The Front Street Grille was ok and the view was good. My husband had the 1/2 roast chicken which he thought was a little bland. I had the... More

Tried the mussels, oyster & chips, seafood fettuccine. They were all excellent. Only complaint is that there is no patio seating : ( Would have been wonderful to sit outside on a sunny day

Great service and delicious mussels. I tried the mussels with curry sauce for the first time and loved it.

Ok. I don't know if there is another reason to go to this place other than the mussels. There doesn't need to be. Or at least, I would never find out because I would just order the mussels over and over and over again. I had the coconut green curry and my wife had the chorizo. When will I get... More
