Beautiful View & Good Food

My husband & I were visiting Whidbey Island. Our son-in-law was stationed in Oak Harbor in January and this was our first visit. We had been to the Lavender Farms and they wanted to show us Coupeville. We walked down the pier and found Kims. It was my husband, daughter and her husband and our 2... read more

We love Thai food. Having it outdoors on Penn Cove just added so much more to the great meal. Good prices and service. Love the casual vibe. It didn't hurt that we had also just kayaked, renting them from who I believe to be the 'mama' of the whole operation there. Fun, fun, day.

Thus cafe is at the of a short pier. We had wanted to sit outside but it didn't look like there was outdoor seating. It was there....nice picnic tables overlooking the water. Food was very good and prices were excellent! Homemade clam chowder was delicious. Would definitely recommend.

We were getting cold and wanted something warm. We stopped here and got Thai-Style Chicken Curry. It was very good. What was really nice is that we wanted to share. They said OK. When we got the dish, they had actually given us two bowls and it looked like it wasn't just half an order but more. The view is... More

We walked the long pier in the very chilly wind to have dinner only to find it was not open. It was well within the hours of operation, but closed. So we took a few nice scenic photos and went elsewhere to eat. Too bad.

We were there with a group of 20 and we all had their mussels...they come with a huge chunk of French bread to dip in the buttery/wine/garlic/mussel juices. Everyone was very happy with the meal. They serve Vietnamese Pho and some Thai dishes besides the "American" seafood items.

Went for lunch on a summer day and enjoyed eating outside on the spatious deck. The restaurant is in the Coupeville Pier Building. Unique blend of Vietnamese and traditional American options on the menu. We ordered the Vietnamese Crepe and a Chicken Bahn Mi (subbed onion rings for the fries.)

We had great service and a fresh lunch of salmon and clam chowder at Kim's. Our friendly waitress gave good suggestions on places to see, such as Fort Casey State Park and Admiralty Head lighthouse

We went here for lunch and im so glad we did. Its nothing fancy just a cute little place on the pier with both in door and out door seating. The muscles were amazing! My husband and the kids had Panini sandwiches and soup which they seemed to enjoy and I had pad thai (forgive my spelling)with prawns which was... More

Great little restaurant right on Coupeville pier. Reasonable prices and really good food. Large menu with a lot of Thai selections, but also plenty of other seafood and other choices. Friendly service.
