Kim's is located at the end of the Coupeville pier. There is inside seating and many tables have a nice view of the water. We chose to sit outside on one of several picnic tables; they are public tables and cannot be reserved for restaurant patrons, but we thought is was worth the short wait to have a view of... More

Kim's café has a great location on the wharf, which might lead you to suspect that it's premium location might trump the food quality (I think we've all witnessed this before..) However, the food was quite satisfying and their soups and stirfrys offer a nice mix of seafood and Thai flavors. This appears to be a family run show and... More

The restaurant is located at the end of the pier and is well worth the walk out from town. Three of us came for a late lunch (3 pm) and found it almost empty of customers. I ordered fish and chips with peanut coleslaw. It was delicious, especially the beer batter encrusted fish. Service was fine as expected with no... More

We walked into Kim's shortly after 11 am with a party of 11 and no reservation. We were promptly seated - first pleasant surprise. We ordered around the menu, including several meal splits and shares without any hassle. Food was all good. The sandwiches were not the best choices on the menu - the bread to filling ratio was heavily... More

Perched at the end of the wharf in Coupeville, I was hoping for a nice lunch with fresh fish. There are a couple of good restaurants that we usually attend when we make the drive there, so we wanted to try something different. The restaurant has a heavy Asian influence but they also offer fish and chips as one might... More

I had lunch here with two nieces and one nephew--all teenagers. Great food, varied menu, rustic atmosphere. One of my nieces tried the Pahd Thai and loved it. I had the Penn Cove mussels prepared in white wine, garlic, and butter...oh, my were they ever delish!! Prices very reasonable and service was just right.

Michelle at Chateau Ste. Michelle (no relation) told us to stop here and try the Penn Cove Mussels steamed in a garlic butter wine sauce. They also give you hit bread to dip in the sauce. Delicious!!!

We thought we would try this restaurant on the end of the pier. We were greeted as soon as we enter and escorted to a window seat. Service was mediocre and the food was not very good.

If there was a rating between average & very good, I'd choose that. We didn't hate our meal but "Very good" is a bit much. I enjoyed my clam chowder & salad special much more than my husband enjoyed his Asian Chicken Salad entree. My chowder was hot which scores points for me as so often restaurants don't serve hot... We stopped in on a sunny day a couple of weeks ago and I ordered the 'wild salmon' burger - This was a pre-formed patty, from a frozen food box you can buy at Safeway. Absolutely tasteless.... for $8 something. When I commented to the server, she said she would pass on the comments to the owner later...... Don't assume... More
