This place had good food, great service and a comfortable home cooked meal feel. Friendly staff and good food will bring us back there again.

Stopped by the legendary Stove in Mammoth. Had the prime rib skillet. WOW! It came with a pair of homemade biscuits which were amazing. Can't wait to go back.

A good basic breakfast with very large portions of potatoes. Everything arrived cooked exactly as ordered. Although the waitress was very busy she was efficient and friendly. She recommended the biscuits and they were delicious. The pancakes were large and fluffy. Very good breakfast - you won't go away hungry!

Not a trip to Mammoth is complete without having breakfast at The Stove. Very generous portions, great food and also homemade pies which we had later and were very tasty. Whenever in Mammoth, must stop there to eat a meal. Love the French Toast!

Good comfort food served in a casual place. Quickly greeted and seated for dinner. Food server was buried but she did her best although quite flustered. Country fried steak, fried chicken and a breakfast were all good. Pie( (apple, blueberry and boysenberry) were above average and really tasty. If you want comfort food--- this s your only choice, but nt... More

We dropped by this legendary Mammoth spot after a morning drive from Las Vegas. Lunch was excellent. The tuna salad was outstanding and the tacos were excellent. You will, without question, be satisfied dining at The Stove. The servings are large and well prepared. Service was average for this busy restaurant.

For over 40 years we have been stopping for breakfast at The Stove when visiting the Mammoth Lakes, summer or winter. Of course, The Stove is our favorite breakfast option and last week was no exception. We arrived at 6:30 AM on a Tuesday, several booths were already full, and were greeted with a smile and escorted to our table.... More

We had just pulled into town from a three hour drive and this was a great find. Neat small town feel restaurant. Great service and great food. I had a good burger with a choice of fries or salad. I went with the salad and it was huge and great! My wife had the Tuna Melt, she said it was... More

The Stove is a must and a tradition for our family and friends. The atmosphere is country kitchen. The breakfasts are out of this world, hearty and great for beginning a day of hiking. It is located on the Old Mammoth Road. Get there early as the place has a great reputation and can become crowded with a wait for... More
