Huge Portions

This cute restaurant has more atmosphere than most others in Mammoth. The menu is varied. The portions are huge. The prices are exceedingly reasonable. I have eaten here several times and have always had service with a smile. I'll plan to come back with every visit to Mammoth.

When you positively, absolutely need a big good old fashioned tasty breakfast. Look no further. And now you can even get a mimosa. The biscuits and the pancakes are my favorite here. I don't know what they do, but it works. And works well. It's been recently updated and cleaned up, if you had been here years ago, and thought... More

After a long hard few weeks of work, a friend I and scored a night off together and decided to get dinner somewhere. The mission was the eat a giant meal and go to bed. The stove couldn't of been a better choice. The homemade biscuits were perfect, light, airy, warm. I recommend adding honey to the butter for some... More

There were 6 adults and two toddlers in our group. Okay the service wasn't phenomenal for a diner, but the food was really good and proportions were bigger than any of us could finish - and we all came with big appetites! Everyone remarked how fresh and delicious their biscuits were. My biscuits were served with a great gravy obviously... More

The stove was always one of our "must visit" restaurants in Mammoth. However, the new owners have greatly increased the prices, decreased the serving sizes, and replaced the previously lean and luscious ham and bacon with fatty tasteless meat, and their previously delicious, fluffy homemade waffles and pancakes with something that tastes suspiciously like Krusteaz's. So sad to see the... More

My wife and I visited this restaurant whilst on our honeymoon. Terrible Service, terrible food, terrible atmosphere. Meatloaf was awful, like a dried up brick. I had the prime rib which was diabolical.

I used to frequent The Stove on a regular basis and I miss it now that I no longer live nearby. The western omelette is to die for. The perfect blend of cheese has been achieved, chunks of Ortega chilis and crispy bacon keep this omelette and restaurant on the top of my list!!! Potatoes are lovely too. My only... More

This place had super good breakfast for the entire family! Big portions but not so huge the food gets wasted. I had a veggie omelet that was probably the best I've ever had. The onions were perfectly grilled and they certainly didn't skimp on the veggies like most places. Small place, kind crowded but the team seemed to work together... More

On a recent Fall trip to Mammoth, we noted The Stove was open for dinner Thurs- Sun and had pot pie on the menu. Off we went and were extremely happy we did. The physical venue is a bit tired and needing an upgrade which the new young owner said was coming. The vintage knick knacks all over the walls... More

We came here for breakfast our first morning. Our hotel included free breakfast with my Platinum status but I heard this place had good breakfast so we came here. It was fairly busy when we arrived but we waited for about 15 minutes. It was worth the wait. Really great food. My wife got a veggie omelet and raved about... More
