Stop when you're done at the mountain!

Great place to hit for happy hour! Good and reasonably priced food for a tourist area. A hit with the locals too.

We enjoyed staying here before we rescued our dog and now only stop through for the restaurant. Our dinning experience has been average the last two times. Growing up with a German Chef from the old world as a father may put me in a biased position for this style of food. Our first time 5 years ago was amazing... More

The Austria Hoff Restaurant is located in the Austria Hof Hotel where we had an excellent stay, right next to Canyon Lodge Chairlifts so convenient . We had All our meals in their Fine Dining restaurant in my opinion, huge menu and between the 4 of us we tried just about every dish. Each dish was delicious, well presented, hot,... More

I had dinner here, it was about $50 a person with a group. The food was large portions but about average on quality. Service could be a bit spotty, other tables had bread and were able to get refills/additional drink orders, that did not happen for us. They also did not clear our tables plates even though they were taking... More

The exterior of the building is promising. Tyrollean feel in Southern California. When you get inside, though, the booths have more of a feel of a pizza parlor. The decoration at the entrance to the hotel/restaurant is in keeping with the Austrian them, but that is not continued in the dining area. The food, although a true reflection of what's... More

Tried the filet mignon carpaccio - delicious, ate it all. The German sampler Bauernschmaus is a huge portion that fed 3, not 2 people. The ambiente of the restaurant as well as the whole house reminds of Austria or Bavaria, but several decades ago, should be revamped and brought to a German/Austrian up-to date level.

Great happy hour place! Awesome happy hour menu! A bit pricey, but good. Restaurant menu is very good, too, just, again, pricey.

Had a reasonably good bar meal in here. The atmosphere was good and staff pleasant but table was a bit sticky, which is a pet hate.

Visited this restaurant a couple of years ago. Maitre'd/waiter/manager had a very grumpy, unpleasant air about him. Food was at best, possessed the taste and quality of a mid tier midwestern chain restaurant but with 4 star restaurant pricing. Basically an establishment I would never patronize again. Fast forward to this evening. At the urging of a good friend, went... More
