Unfortunately, because of the drought conditions, the owner has decided to close the Mammoth location. Mammoth Brewing will be taking over the building. There may be the possibility that the owner will re-open the Whiskey Creek location in Bishop.

The dining experience began with being seated literally next to the kitchen when the entire dining area was empty. Asked to be moved and were moved next to where a family of 9 with 4 kids under 5 were seated within the next 2 minutes. Unsure why when there was an empty dining area. Needed to ask the server for... Awesome. Prices at happy hour! Hostesses and servers were very busy but great! Food and salads were very good.

Whiskey Creek has been around for the last 30 years that I’ve been visiting Mammoth. What can I say – great beer, excellent food and awesome service. It’s nice to see some things haven’t changed.

My husband and myself had dinner here in our recent overnight trip in Mammoth. The beer was good! The soup was OK. My husband had the BBQs spare ribs and they did not taste like BBQ spare ribs. I had a wedge salad and it was pretty PLAIN. The service was OK. I am not sure if we would come... More

Came at Happy Hour (between 4 to 6PM) on a quiet Tuesday evening (i.e., no Monday Night Football but all the TVs were tuned to ESPN, anyway) with a fair amount of customers. Bartender said we could sit wherever we wished. Menus are already on the tables and had our orders taken promptly with a reasonable wait time. All of... More

We love happy hours! Whiskey creek offers different food options than most happy hours we attend. Selected items (those that are underlined) on the menu are half-price. That means you have a selection of salads, appies, sandwiches, and main courses that are included. Of course there is the alcohol selections, but we mainly stuck with a micro beer, locally brewed... We came for the happy hour. Service was terribly slow and no one even gave us water. After 15 minutes of nothing we left for another restaurant down the street where we were promptly given water and our order was taken. We've visited Whiskey Creek several years ago and had a much better experience but we will probably hesitate before... More
