We're trying to figure out why this place is so highly rated. It's very small and cramped. The decor is old sports bar, and the food is nothing great. We ordered the crab cakes. There were two small ones on a large bed of greens, and it seemed over-priced for $14. Our other luncheon plate was sliders with an overly... More

Toomey's is a breath of fresh air in Mammoth!! Right off of The Village Gondola, it's a great location. The space isn't huge right now, but somehow, I feel that a larger space is in their future. I love that the menu rotates to include new and unique items. We had the Pork Chop and Veggie Lasagna. Just due to... More

Steak Ceasar Salad still the best around, love the lobster taquitos too. Sit outside by the firelit on a summer evening.

My friend and I went here on a whim- heard it was a local spot. Looks like a take out counter, but so worth it if you get a table! We had the baked Brie (out of this world) and the elk tenderloin- so good. The next time I came to mammoth I couldn't wait to have more, but was... More

Loved the french toast and marscapone pancakes for breakfast. We also had dinner and my daughter loved the mac and cheese, while we really enjoyed the meatloaf. The caesar salad was delicious and large. Both times we didn't want to wait for a table and took the meals to go to eat in our room.

Amazing food! Local's secret spot! You need to try it! My kids beg for the homemade Mac and Cheese, too. The specials are truly special!

For once, I took TA advice as we were in a hurry and in Mammoth only for shopping and lunch. Walking into Toomeys, I thought " oh dear" but it was sooooo good. Generous portions, superbly cooked, excellent service. It deserves its TA no.1 spot in Mammoth Lakes. Crab cakes - delicious, Caesar salad with steak - AMAZING, one kid... More

Discovered Toomey's last year. A great place to eat. Love the breakfast bagel sandwich and pancakes w/marscone! The owner is super nice as is the staff. The decorations in the cases are cool...lots of stuff from the 1960/70s. It's now part of our regular dining places every trip.
