Just give me something to eat!

Mammoth rolls up the sidewalks early. Most restaurants close by 9PM and it is hard to find good clean food. I had the Italian Salad and my son had a huge Burger Battle burger. Both were better than average. Friendly service but seemed overwhelmed by the crowd that night.

We have lunch here every year on trip to Mammoth Lakes. The food, as well as the service, remains very good. The hamburgers are exceptional. Desserts are great. However, much to our chagrin, the Amish Coleslaw was removed from the menu. That is truly a loss. Our server told us that the chef wanted to change up the menu a... More

Yes it is a grill, expecting steaks, but I would say their steak/meat selection was not great.. BUT their fish was really good and tasty. We got the Snapper with Carry/coconut sauce and it was very good.

Based on their boasting of winning a burger battle, we expected better. Although it wasn't busy (4 tables near finished when we arrived), our service was kind but poor. They mixed up our burger order and it we couldn't tell who's was who's. Bother were supposed to have cheese - only mine did, his was buffalo, mine was supposed to... More

CJ's is a "locals favorite". Their Happy Hour is the "best in town" & the draft beer is deliciously ice-cold! The food is not gourmet by any measure - think of it more as "up-scale comfort food". Generous portions, the Fish & Chips are especially tasty & "home-made" ice-cream in multiple flavors is a special treat. Reservations are a good... More

all ingredients were sour, no sweet complement: had capers, artichoke hearts, and sun dried tomatoes. Green beans were tough. Other guest's meal included corn on the cob. 1/3 of the cob was wilted, the rest of the corn was good.

Based on reviews, we visited this restaurant. The staff is friendly, beer is good and the food is pretty tasty. They have a good selection for children's menu as well. We shared a quesadilla as appetizer and it was made with beef and had tomatoes inside. We had crab cake burger and regular burger and we couldn't finish. The food... More

Went here on the first day of reopening after the 'winter break' and had the Fish & Chips. Really, the simple description does not do the place justice. The fish was perfectly battered, the Coleslaw side was amazingly good (we took some away with us) and chefs should be sent here to learn how chips should be cooked - fantastic.... More

Restaurant has been in business a few years now and has blossomed into one of the best in town. Nicely varied menu.

CJ's Grill is a delightful family owned & operated restaurant in Mammoth Lakes easily located on Old Mammoth Road with lots of parking. They added an outside area this last year where when the weather is beautiful is a perfect spot for a glass of wine and a hamburger without description. They have an $8.00 lunch special Tuesday-Friday. Try a... More
