Threw up within two hours after eating a giros pita. Meat was a prefab slice, not comparable to original giros (looked and tasted artificial). Vegetables looked and tasted fresh. Bread was mediocre. Price was OK, but should have trusted my instincts and not have finished after the first bite. Sorry, but would not recommend.

Vacationing with my wife and the dog in Mammoth Lakes, we stopped for lunch in The Village @ the Pita Pit. The staff was courteous and friendly, moved quickly, and provided our lunch salads without delay. The food was fresh, tasty, and creative. This is a do-over for sure.

This wasn't my first visit to a Pita pit, but my first to this location. The food is nothing special, just okay. If you like sandwiches, then you might like this place. The service was pretty good, but it was pretty empty when we were there. Not the cleanest place though as some of the tables weren't wiped off and... More

Simply the best pita ever eaten, good dough and choice of stuffing is really wide. There are many varieties of veg pita, really tasty falafel and hummus! The guy who served us was really smiling and very helpful! If you're in the area, do not miss it!

We go there sometimes on our way back to Tahoe after skiing at Mammoth because it's quick, right on the way, healthy, and affordable. This time, a few hours after getting on the road, we all started getting stomach aches, and terrible gas. They fed us something tainted,

Basically, they will heat and prepare your meat or veggie pitas and bowls to order right on the spot. It's fast, delicious and a rather healthful alternative to the local restaurants. Grab a stool to eat in or take out, their preparations are perfect for people on the go. Easy location right on the road to Main Lodge at the... More

We had dinner at this place by chance, but we loved it. Many variations of pita, especially so many vegetarian! In addition, the filling was really rich, plentiful and tasty! Recommended.

The food here is fresh and nutritious and a good value for the village. Staff was not as friendly as we usual encountered in the village, but the service was good and the product was very good.
