Mexican food can be tricky any where. This place had a good drink and food in the village. I liked it had indoor and outdoor seating. It offered a good variety of regular items and new Mexican dishes.

At the Village Plaza, you are spoilt for choice, we decided to visit Gomez's to sample their tequila. Whilst the tequila is great, the food somewhat missed the mark for my palette. We ordered wings to start and there where drowning in chipotle sauce so fairly messy to eat. We then had the ribs and pulled pork carnitas to follow.... More

My friend and I visited for the first time for an early lunch last weekend and we sat inside in the main dining room. It was a little too chilly outside for us, but there were a few people enjoying the large patio. There were heat lamps out there and it looked like the restaurant provided festive little shoulder wraps... More

The appetizers are already big. We'd ask for burrito and quesadilhas. It was a lot and great. I would suggest the margarita as well, but the beers was already very good.

The patio seating is awesome! Beautiful fire pit to highlight ur dinner ! Short staff on the waitresses in the patio , but the food made up for it! Drinks were good! Happy hour def a must! The waitresses were very friendly and apologetic on the wait while dining on the patio. Went back another night and experienced dining in... More

My family absolutely loves this restaurant!! We actually always stay in June Lake (nearby), but we always drive to the village to eat at Gomez's. The food is fantastic, and they have a nice happy hour. They do tend to get very very busy on Friday and Saturday nights during peak season, but that's to be expected. The only bummer... More

We ate at Gomez's Mexican Restaurant twice on our recent visit to Mammoth Lakes and loved the food. The chile rellenos were some of the best we've ever had. Also, the waiters were very nice, especially our waitress, Maria. She was so welcoming and attentive and cordial.

Rushed and bland says it all really. Poor flavour. Go there for convenient location only. Staff friendly if you're not bothered a bout the food

In addition to delicious food, this restaurant has excellent service and a great location in Mammoth Village. The food was so good that we went back for dinner a couple of days later. The tacos and enchiladas were delicious and the servers were friendly and efficient; we didn't have to wait to place our order, the food arrived quickly, and... More

Coming from Texas I am always hesitant to try Mexican food on vacation, but Gomez's is pretty good. It is located in the Village so it has a lively feel around it. The services was great and the food was pretty good. I was there with my family, including my 15 month old daughter, and it is a great place... More
