Tequila Fans, this is YOUR spot!

Gomez's continues to offer a great experience for its patrons. The bar now offers more than 500 (!) tequilas, speciality margaritas, and a tequila flight tasting. The food remains good and is attractively presented. Plenty of televisions for watching sports (and the staff is amenable to changing to... read more

There was never a trip to Mammoth that didn't include a visit to Gomez. From the years that they had in the little A Frame to the time they moved to the old Hennesy's space. But in the last visits there, the food quality has really dropped. In fact, with this last visit to Mammoth, I was the only one... More

Got into an argument with hubby so I decided to fly solo for an hour or two. I needed a drink! Stopped at Gomez's for their happy hour and got the only Margarita on their HH menu. I wasn't expecting much but the drink was delish!!! Hard, on the rocks with salt. I also ordered 2 tacos from HH menu... More

My husband and I were craving Mexican food, so we ended up at Gomez' at The Village. We were seated promptly then waited, waited, waited for service. We got chips and salsa minutes before the waitress showed. The salsa was ok, but the chips tasted stale from a bag. Once we got our food, it was determined to be ok.... More

the food selection was good although initially we felt we'd been forgotten by the wait staff. once the head waitress identified that no-one seemed to be looking after us she quickly solved the issue and we received our food and drink orders quickly.

The menu selections at Gomez went far beyond the typical fare, though you could find that too. The sangria was excellent, as were the tamales. The service is good if not inspired. A good choice for lunch, dinner or apres ski.

the food was great, they have some twists to the usual (boring) Mexican menu, which were very good. Tequila menu is quite impressive.

Our intention was to only take a after ski beer, Corona of course. But the friendly staff offered some starter and we found our self ordering a Trio with Chicken Breast, Coconut Shrimp as fried corns, all was just as delicious as it looks like.

Delicious food all around. And the salsa that came with the free chips were really great, and I suspect freshly made there. Prices are reasonable... combos are a good value. Staff were friendly.

Thanks so much. You are right; We fry the chips fresh daily and make the salsa from scratch. Nothing out of a can here. Everyone here in our little resort community appreciates people coming to visit us. Hope you can make it again soon. Cheers! More
