good food

the food selection was good although initially we felt we'd been forgotten by the wait staff. once the head waitress identified that no-one seemed to be looking after us she quickly solved the issue and we received our food and drink orders quickly.

The menu selections at Gomez went far beyond the typical fare, though you could find that too. The sangria was excellent, as were the tamales. The service is good if not inspired. A good choice for lunch, dinner or apres ski.

the food was great, they have some twists to the usual (boring) Mexican menu, which were very good. Tequila menu is quite impressive.

Our intention was to only take a after ski beer, Corona of course. But the friendly staff offered some starter and we found our self ordering a Trio with Chicken Breast, Coconut Shrimp as fried corns, all was just as delicious as it looks like.

Delicious food all around. And the salsa that came with the free chips were really great, and I suspect freshly made there. Prices are reasonable... combos are a good value. Staff were friendly.

Thanks so much. You are right; We fry the chips fresh daily and make the salsa from scratch. Nothing out of a can here. Everyone here in our little resort community appreciates people coming to visit us. Hope you can make it again soon. Cheers! More

Had a good menu but nothing was great all just ok. Now this bar has the best collection hands down of tequila I've ever seen. If you want it they have it

We believe we have perhaps the second largest selection of Tequila north of Mexico. Certainly the largest at this elevation! Thanks so much for stopping by. We hope you'll consider Mammoth / Yosemite again soon. Cheers! More

I try to not hit the big joints in the Village, as food and service have never been very good, and Gomez's is the worse of the worse. The margarita's taste like there is still dish soap in the glasses. No one at our table could even finish half there drink. Absolutely disgusting. And the food isn't much better. I... More

So sorry to hear of your disappointment. That has not generally been the reaction but understand that when it comes to food and drink we may not always hit the mark. Thanks so much for including Mammoth / Yosemite in your winter plans. Hope you'll at least consider our area again. Safe travels! More

Gomez has a great location in the Village with a place for the kiddies to play while waiting for the food. However, service was slow, the food was just okay, and the prices are a bit high for what you get.

Sorry that the service was a bit slow on your visit. That is always frustrating. But thanks so much for stopping by. Wish it could have been a stronger positive experience for you but we are grateful that you came by and hope you'll give Mammoth in general many more visits. More
