Books, yes, and quite a lot more

S this is what the longest continuously operated bookstore in the world looks like. It's actually a series of buildings connected together, and they all seem to sell different types of stuff. Books, yes, but also a lot of chochskies. Lots of decorations, trinkets, jewelry, etc. About 1/3 of the... read more

A very interesting shop, and it is full of a variety of items for every person on your gift list or for yourself. Besides books, there's garden stuff, knick-knacks, pottery, candles, t-shirts, candy, cards, jewelry and so much more. The folks were very warm and helpful.

I have been told it is the oldest book store. There is a huge selection of various items besides books. It seems to appeal to tourists.

My husband and I visited the bookstore during a visit to Bethlehem. This is a quaint shop with a nice selection of books. We spent some time looking around at their offerings and the prices were comparable to any other bookstore. You must make a stop at this bookstore, if for no other reason than to say you visited the... More

Here's a treat for the tourist as well occasionally for the locals. If you need some Christmas decorations this is the place to shop...anytime of year. But please also check out the cafe - good food; prices okay...some on the high side. And, check out the book store...good selections for kids, too. And, don't miss the last shop for feature... More

There is a new sheriff in the Moravian Book Shop called Thomas at the Book Shop. Went there today for the first time and what a nice surprise it was. Thomas who took over the Book Shop eatery has had it for only 6 months. He is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and taught at Northampton Community... More

The Moravian Book Shop is an absolutely delightful place to both shop and eat. It is located on Main Street right in the heart of the historic district of Bethlehem, across the street from the Hotel Bethlehem. The store is arranged in three distinct sections. On the south (right) side is the home accents section. You can find dinnerware, throw... More

We decided to walk around the town of Bethlehem right before Christmas. As we walked by the book store we realized that we had never been in it however have heard so much about it. It is truly an amazing sight when you walk in and try to take in everything around you. What beautiful items they have to offer.... More

My family of six ate here for a late lunch during the week of Christmas. We were one of only a few people dining in the cafe, but our order was mixed up and took quite a while to arrive at our table. The food, acorn squash soup; kale, sausage, and white bean soup; and chicken paninis were fine, but... More
