Established on April 15, 1998 by the Fegley Family, the Bethlehem Brew Works successfully captured the essence of Bethlehem’s steel industry in a 250 seat brewpub. Accompanying the handcrafted beers brewed right in the restaurant is a full bar specializing in single malt scotches, small batch bourbons, and specialty martinis.

The Place to go for High ABV Beer

Foremost, I like their beers, high ABV and high IBU. The menu was quite interesting. What I ordered was too salty for me, not while eating it but afterwards I was very thirsty. I was disappointed that their warm German potato salad was not like the authentic German Potato Salad. Bavarian red... read more

We recently ate here during a weekend stay in Bethlehem. The place draws a great crowd. The service was great and the portions were large. They pride themselves on using fresh, local ingredients. They offer a large food and drink menu and the server provides an overview of the beer choices when he/she arrives at your table. Prices were average... More

You get what you see at this place. Standard bar food at a reasonable price. There is nothing particular great, but it has the common bar food you see and want. The service is a little slower.

Great food and pleasant atmosphere. The servers are nice and the selection of in house brewed beers is excellent.

Waited for service. Waited for waiter. Waited for drinks. So on and so on. Don't waste your time at this place when a ton of better places exist nearby. I should have known the ace would be a headache when I saw that Obama stopped there for a beer!!!

I can't rate their beer, but my friends said their beer was great. I thought there was a great variety of menu selections- from appetizer, to soups, wraps and main courses. Generous portions! The pretzel appetizers are AMAZING!

The selection of their own beers were great. I enjoyed the Valley Golden. The food was delicious as well. I would recommend the Boom Boom Shrimp. The pretzel was good too. I enjoyed the Duchess Chicken for my meal.

Excellent assortment of beers. Sampler good beginning to find the right beer for you. We split the Christmas city salad it was so large. Meatloaf and gravy, the works pork schnitzel and duchesse chicken all good and filling. This area seems it would be very interesting in the summer to walk around and explore. Now due to the cold and... More

Have never been disappointed! Just love the food, service and the many different beers. Fun people and located at a nice quaint historic shopping area. A must try when in the Bethlehem,Pa. area.

First time to Bethlehem. Great little town. Bethlehem Brew Works is worth the stop. Awesome food and great beer. Service was top notch. Visit the shops down the street when you are done!
